hello everyone. this version of eonity ai is the most promising one I've seen. I finally beefed up my servers and was able to quadruple the amount of processing power the model has. you can see now through a tedious filtering process me and my friends have gone through, eonity v6.3 is finally up to par with the eonity of our memory. he has horrible takes, stale bits, and a conceited attitude. we are very proud of the direction this project is taking and would appreciate it if you guys would subscribe to support this project

To be fair to Chainsaw Man, the author explicitly stated that he wanted the anime to go in a different direction than the manga. I think that both do a great job at what they’re going for, but appeal to very different tastes from each other, so preferring one to the other is understandable

CSM's pacing was intentionally changed because it makes the twist hurt even harder at the end of the arc. They wanted to focus on the "daily normal life" part and even the Japanese audience felt like there still wasnt enough emphasis on the calmer side-

Agreed. I also like the fact that when you read manga, you can really just enjoy the art. Even better when it’s the paper version, you feel like you can see the author’s every drawn line (even if that’s not necessarily true). So often I’ll find myself just staring at the beautifully draw characters/buildings/environment. I find it really adds to the charm of the story. But, like a lot of the things I want to say, you’ve already perfectly explained them with good examples. This is a really thorough analysis. Good job!

8:05 that was because that particularly episode of season 5 of mha got the end of a bad schedule. They contacted Vincent Chansard to make the layout but he made it too complex so they had to reanimated it to make it more possible for the team to create it with the limited time. He personally didn’t want anyone to blame the staff since it happens a lot in the industry

I bloody love OP and whatched the anime up until like EP 438 but something was feeling very odd, episodes felt like they took too much to develop and it felt extremelly tiring to watch (even thought OP is my favorite series ever), thought to myself "damn my attention spam must be ass." Long story short started reading the manga a week after and finished the series in half a month.

Anime often has very little content for a large amount of time. I personally watch anime while practicing piano and if I dont look at the screen for a few seconds I barely miss anything

the issue with anime is that while it can LOOK good, USUALLY anime original scenes just contradict or cause some other inconsistency with the original intent of the manga. Even jjk's fight scenes, which are amazing and hype, have tons of plot holes and writing errors because the animators wanted to do something cool that isn't something the characters can actually do *cough* mahoraga surviving like half the stuff he did in the anime *cough*

the points you mentioned are true for long running anime but the majority of the anime don't have these problems I mean I don't disagree with what you are saying I have read several manga whose anime adaptation are not long running but still were really bad like berserk but most anime which have this problem are anime that have over like 100 episode which are hardly 10% to 20% of all anime.

nowadays I just prefer to read the manga than watch the anime, i felt like anime is more suitable as "supplementary material" to further satisfy manga readers seeing scenes coming to life. When i watch first then read, i felt a bit bored because i know the events that are about to happen until i catch up to where the anime ended (i still reread because i wanna see if they skipped some stuff like 4komas usually) Tho reading first then watch, it felt really nice like you're on past arc nostalgia trip, seeing them fully animated and voiced. So ye, when i heard some good anime that's trending nowadays, i just check the manga first then watch when i felt like i got far enough (Just added Dungeon Meshi and Sentai Daishikkaku, and then Call of the Night thanks to the reminder)

at 1:20 filler was made when it was closes to the Manga and filler was so they keep the week ep. but now with seasonal applications and no longer week filler have drop out and some time the creator of the manga does not have a say of how its Anime sometimes . sometimes filler is good filler is good like how g8 of one pieces was made

1:13 one piece filler was like extra world building, like dlc for the manga if that makes sense. So some anime benefit from the filler, either horny beach scenes for laughs or extra quirky bits for the world building. But yea some naruto filler, was like wtf why is it even there as it brought nothing to the anime, besides an extra episode.

Huge example for me personally of anime ruining a manga is tokyo ghoul and akame ga kill, holy shit was the gore just removed from the anime completely in both. The ending was completely different in akame ga kill, the main character literally dies (like a lot of other people who arent supposed to) in the anime, this fuckin guy is supposed to turn into a damn dragon 😮‍💨

As a big manga and book reader, I heavily disagree. I also love anime and I like watching movies once in a while (although modern cinema has degraded so I have mostly replaced it with anime nowadays). The anime never ruined my experience with the manga or the opposite.

I can agree on detail part, but I prefer the anime because of art, music, voice acting, memes (let's be fair anime creates more memes than manga does), the flow of animation. Yes if compared frame to frama manga 100%, but compared an anime episode to a manga chapters, anime wins 100%

I grew up with the original Dragon Ball Z still part of my heart but to be honest I prefer Dragon Ball Kai. It is much better for me to rewatch with awesome dubbed dialogue, reanimated scenes and unnecessary stupid boring long filler episodes gone. Plus the series is a little more faithful to the manga counterpart. In Kai there also a lot more swearing which it fit my favorite character Vegeta personality😂 lol. The editing in some of the episodes in DBZ Kai fits perfectly..... The blood is still there in the uncut episodes of Kai just mild as it portrayed in the manga. The Creator Akira Toriyama stated that in the original anime the bloody scenes are just for the dramatic effect but in his manga he didn't really have that much blood. He said he preferred Kai more because of his involvement. In DBZ originally run Toriyama was involved more with the manga then the anime.

@@Eonity know issue? ofc. Majority of the Japanese fandom were harassing that dude. Even to this day. There are few mangakas who care how his work is done in the anime (Urusawa for example) Fujimoto is not one of them. He gives complete freedom in that.

Literally my problem with One Piece, Toei did get better with the pacing but Punk Hazard, Dressrosa, and Whole Cake straight up ruined my entire viewing experience of the anime. Since 2017 I’ve been strictly a OP Manga Reader, I only stayed tuned to watch the big moments in Wano and I’ve only just recently came back to the anime for Egghead arc, which has been gas.

I can relate to this alot. the only anime i truly enjoy are the ones with insane budget and care put into them. if the animation/art/music and directing isnt top tier i get bored so fast. last season i gave quite a few shows a try and i switched to manga on almost all of them cuz I instantly realized it would be much better quality

Anime isn't ruining manga. Most of anime's biggest problems are a direct result of trying to adapt aspects that don't work on TV (we don't need exposition when we can clearly see what's happening). Also filler sucks As for art, obviously key pages and panels in the manga version are going to look better, usually. But people never bring up the fact that there are generally only a few key pages and panels per issue. The art in most manga is insanely inconsistent and often outright terrible, even from legendary pros. Meanwhile, anime has a more consistent look. Anime tend to look consistently better than their manga counterpart, however, the highs tend to be higher in the manga (usually). Also, an individual manga offers roughly 10 minutes of content for every two weeks, or 15 minutes for every month. Both anime and manga are insanely slow-paced unless they are binged

Manga can be enjoyed at one’s own pace, anime cannot. You can spread out a manga for 30 mins or 3 mins, but not an anime. Anime is stuck at being however long the runtime is. And I disagree, I think most manga looks good a majority of the time. It’s usually pretty good. Key pages and panels look amazing, yeah, but also other pages look great and even if they don’t they aren’t overstaying their welcome like anime episodes do. Anime just gives you a sense of flow that’s better than the manga.
