A soul eater game with character creation would go crazy. Imagine picking between a meister, witch/wizard, or weapon. Obviously with limitations, witch/ wizard have a lot of abilities but can’t combo with meisters or weapons, weapons can transform into their hybrid forms or use abilities granted to them only. And meisters have longer combos, and can use a weapon player temporarily depending how long they maintain a link. Which I think soul resonance can be a stat that’s increased

I'm thinking it could be fun to do something kinda like that... but also different. You make your meister, and then you _also_ make their (canon) weapon partner. I say canon because I do imagine you'd get to play with other weapons here and there, which would _completely_ change your moveset, but you'd have this extra personal bond with the weapon you yourself made as a player, which would translate into it being the canonical main partner for the MC that gets all the cool resonance buffs.

For another (admittedly less popular and thus less likely to get adapted) anime that could make a good Hitman-style game, there’s Princess Principal: steampunk spy thriller with some potentially really fun gameplay gimmicks if adapted properly, like the main character walking on walls, one of the characters mimicking other people’s voices to lure targets into traps, or the token ninja character just deciding to play a hack-and-slash game instead of a stealth game.

Honestly, if I had the rights to world trigger, I would make that a game, wouldnt have to change anything as all the systems are already explained, combat is easy to replicate, the story works great in a video game setting, the only reason I can think of why no studio made a world trigger game already is because the anime isnt popular enough

I want to see an anime crossover game that takes the framework from Bandai namco's other crossover rpg's and applies it to general action anime, it'll never happen because fighting games sell better but i think it'd be neat. Basically a game where it takes place in a unified setting where the plots of some of these anime can happen but said stories are just kind of rewritten to incorporate characters who dont belong in the setting, like Class 1-A being dumped into the final arcs of Naruto shippuden or something like that.

There was a game like the one you mentioned for Deathnote on the client thingy (don't know if that's the right words for it). It was called BYond or something like that. It had a lot of cool anime like games on it. Stayed up late many nights as a kid playing the hell outta the games. If I remember correctly there was a Bleach and Naruto one too. Good times.

Fullmetal Alchemist was originally published in Monthly Shounen Gangan, Enix's (later, Square-Enix) manga magazine. I don't think they're letting that title go anytime soon (probably they own part of it in some capacity).

I really really really want an Undead Unluck game. I know an anime fighting game is cliche, but the author is a huge street fighter fan and it shows! The designs, the movesets and even the feels of the fights in the series lend themselves perfectly to a 1v1 or 2v2 game, more so than any other recent battle shonen imo. If anyone watched the show or read the manga they might understand what I'm yapping on about. You could also make an RPG about the concept of quests, maybe even one that explores the previous Loops prior to Loop 100. Also, pls release another Jump crossover game soon Shueisha! Very sad they didn't release anything for the 55th anni.

@@HabitualThinker I'm guessing you've only watched the anime? Not looking down on that, but the manga has a TON of characters that would warrant different playstyles. Even with S1 of the anime alone, there's easily enough for a 16-character roster of humanoid fighters if you wanted to go the arena brawler route. But I think it'd be more fun to do a musou-style game with a few Division 4 members carving through hoards of devils. Or even a visual novel dating sim where everything just constantly goes wrong if you want to get really wild with it. 🤣

JJK Cursed Clash got 16 starting out, and I wasn't even accounting for devils like Bat or Infinity when I threw out 16 as my number. And like I said, we're defaulting to arena fighter assumptions, but I think CSM would work much better in other game genres.

Y con algunos mini juegos para agregar un poco de variedad (como un runner en la escena en la que bean se lleva a denji para escapar de reze o un juego de ritmos cuando kobeni juega dance dance revolution); y algunas escenas mas cortas donde puedas usar otros personajes, pero que sean exclusivos del modo historia (como himeno, que no sale mucho por lo que lo mas probable es que no harian un move set completo para ella). Y ademas de poder jugar los mini juegos por separado para tratar de alcanzar la mayor puntuacion, podria tener un modo mision donde van a variar los objetivos y las limitaciones que tengas, como por ejemplo, hacer un boss rush con himeno (considerando que no tiene un moveset completo, lo cual seria mas complicado), que con denji no puedas transformarte. con aki mates 100 demonios (por ejemplo) sin recibir daño (haciendo referencia a que no lo golpean por el demonio del futuro), etc.

I've been begging for a DMC or Souls style Soul Eater action rpg. Imagine the different fighting styles and combos you could do with the different characters, especially Black Star and Stein. And the bosses! We have Crona, Medusa, Ashura and more! Bonus points if it follows the manga because if we're not getting an anime reboot at least let me experience the things we missed in a game. But yeah, I know it's never gonna happen but that would be my dream game.

Last year I suggested a chainsaw man musou due to the zombie devil and yakuza being perfect for hordes of enemies for our main cast to cut through. But now I'm thinking an asymmetrical game like DBTB would also work great for the gruesome chainsaw man universe.

-That Mashle definitely ain't happening. It would've needed a Demon Slayer level pop off for anyone to even remotely consider something a fraction of that scale. And honestly, I think that may be a thing a lot of people tend to not think about with anime games in general. Most of them just aren't big enough to warrant some massive AAA production, especially on a first entry and especially with only one or two seasons worth of content. The other thing being that most anime games IMO simply don't translate that well to video games, or at least not big budget AAA games. -FMA definitely needs something. That mobile game should've been a console game really. -Not a fan of Open Worlds, but I do like the Zom 100 idea -I think the problem with an AoT game is that there's nothing to realy work with since season 4+ is mostly people talking with only a couple of fights in between. At best, that'd be better served as DLC for AoT 2. -I 100% think we're getting a CSM game next year. Also, whatever form the inevitible fighting game takes, they NEED a Devil Contract system where it's basically just assists, but with a negative cost like HP, meter, a debuff, or whatever else. Well aside from me eternally hoping for KLKIF 2 or Trigger Vs., I'd like to see a Tower of God game, which may be pretty likely considering Bamco is apparently working on the anime now. Also hoping for the inevitible SJ game to be a Shounen Jump Xenoverse. As in not Jump Force, but straight up DBXV with other SJ characters (and better CaC). Another one I'd like to see is Made in Abyss. The last game had the right idea from what I've seen, but it needs way more polish. Then there's One's Justice 3.

I really like that Death Note idea 😮 personally I wanna see basically Bleach but xenoverse/shinobi strikers. A bleach rpg where you make your own character, choose quincy or shinigami & you can learn different moves from other characters etc. Maybe have like a what if story way before the actual series. I know it has several games already, a mythical saga like Pirate Warriors, but as far as I know, no pvp, so I include it. Personally, the announcement of Sparkling Zero has me excited, because I know that it can be the starting signal for a new generation of anime games. Why do I say so? Because at least Bandai Namco announced not long ago that it would begin to plan the games more, that it would take longer on them to dedicate more time to them like Sparkling Zero. Assuming that this also involves the storm saga, I hope that while they improve the current one, the next one will be of another level. since on top of that they have the IP of one piece. I don't think it's such a far-fetched dream to have an arena-type fighting game for Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto and Bleach, right? or maybe even... all in the same game as it once was battle stadium d.o.n (jump force does not exist)

Zom 100 should get an open world survival like project zomboid but better graphics alot of movement options and the 100 task of course and the game would be pretty fun in my opinon

Square doesn't just have the FMA license, they literally own it and the manga company that released it and other stuff like Black Butler and Dream Girlfriend. Even if someone wanted to make a FMA game, Square still chooses who does it.
