Dorohedoro is literal peak, it should've gotten the recognition it deserved. To this day it's one of the best manga I've ever read. Dai Dark is another manga of the author, while it may not be as peak as Dorohedoro it's still pretty fun and I recommend you check it out!

Anime-only endings piss me off too, like A Sign of Affection was a show that had me SOOOOO hooked the whole time, but then they completely disrupt the canon with literally ONE addition that wasnt even needed to give a satisfying conclusion. Like, i get WHY studios do it, most anime is expected to only do one season, so sometimes ya gotta move things around to make things wrap up to some degree in case you dont get s2 greenlit. ASOF was clearly a passion project made at a significant financial loss to begin with, so they probably never expected to get a second season from the start. But to just ... IRREVOCABLY fuck up the timeline like that is wild. Nagatoro did it well, moving a scene from an earlier spot to somewhere that fit FAR better thematically (no joke i think Nagatoro s1 did it better than the manga)

Dorohedoro was actually officially announced this month. Land of the Lustrous is a difficult one cause only one small studio has the ability to make it. Orange isn't like other studios that can pump out 2-3 anime a season. They make maybe one anime every 3 years and we already know the next one is unfortunately Beastars. Adapting the terrible ending. So it probably won't come for another 3 years. Which they are most likely working on Land S2 in the background. Magi won't ever happen. Its popularity was already dwindling when it released. Let alone now. Ajin was actually officially cancelled due to being unpopular. The subpar animation didn't help it. You either hire Orange for 3d animation or you don't do it. Which again. Orange are the only good ones cause they take their time. Time most producers don't have. Feels like manga that have expectional artwork are always given to studios who try and experiement with 3d animation they obvioiusly aren't good at. NGNL is because there isn't enough material. It was on hiatus due to a legal dispute over artwork. (Not the authors). Also, they were in and out of the hospital for years. Heavenly Delusion will happen. It's just new.

I kind of get it your reasons, but the disrespect on No Game No Life was real. Yeah, it has some weird stuff, but isn't THAT weird. Well... maybe. XD Edit: I forgot to say. I totally agree that Magi and Simbad deserve being finished asap. After One Piece they are peak anime fiction. Also agree with Dororedorho, but this one is really hard to get the pass so I kind give up. Its is top tier story, but it suffers from the same curse as Berserk: Extremely detailed art, heavy themes and lots and lots of gore. Hardly any studio will give the greenlight to this one.

@@Maidakill yk. The thing about it is that NGNL was made at the time Ecchi was the most popular genre of anime. Just like isekai is today. So the author and the even more the studio that made the anime put those scenes to farm some fans of this. Well, at least that is how I see it.
