I totally agree about Gon, his transformation was so unexpected but so surprising at how drastically he changed. Everyone else had different colored hair and markings but Gon PHYSICALLY grew up and gained a HUGE power boost during the time of his fight and the angst that happened compared to other heroes and their transformations

Nowadays ssj transformations just don't feel special
