As a woman currently learning how to voice act an adult male character Kujira is an inspiration. I would have never known that Orochimaru's Va was female. She is truly awe inspiring and shows that a woman can voice older male characters too.

@@fahadmalik8862 Thats because there aren't a lot of male actors who can pull off feminine voices. There are some exceptions though. Ayumu Murase and Shouta Aoi are known for their girly voices and have voiced women before

Fun Fact: Vic was going to be the English voice of Orochimaru but he was too busy recording Persona 3, so Steve Blum got the part. Ironically, Vic would voice Orochimaru years later in the Ninja Pals dub.

I love Steve Blum's voice, I feel that's Orochimaru's voice. Yes, I'm bias, but you also must also understand Orochimaru is genderfluid. With Blum's voice it feels masc in certain scene's and in others fem. I really enjoyed his voice acting, I felt it made Orochimaru seem more ominous. I also felt the color's chosen for the character were amazing, just the design of the characters alone deserve praise. Orochimaru is what got me invested in Naruto, but the show it's was just amazing. It taught me many priceless lessons. And the OST is just beautiful, something that came down from the heavens. Anyways, I am obsessed with Orochimaru.

Steven Blum. As good as Kujira is something about her voice when she plays the over-arching villain just irks me. She was okay when Orochimaru was in a supporting role. Blum was better when Orochimaru was at his worst; slimy unrepentant, arrogant and just plain disturbing. In terms of all the alternate versions: Grass Ninja disguise = Yuriko Yamaguchi since McGlynn overplays it too much. Host Body voice = Michelle Ruff, good God that laugh. Child voice = Mayumi Yamaguchi since she was a little more sympathetic. Kazakage disguise = A tie since there both good as the 4th Kazekage anyway. Rock Lee spin-off = Kujira since Vic Mingnogna is trying but he's not as funny as he could've been.

Not really. It's just that she never came across as a real mastermind. Her voice was more like the creepy henchmen to the real Big Bad which technically Orochimaru was at one point but the whole point was that Orochimaru was a powerful threat in his own right. So that's why I prefer Blum just a bit.
