I think that this manga deserves so much an anime. But an anime realized like Monster for example. I watched the anime before reading the manga for Monster, and it is one of the few times I prefer the anime over the manga. That is great anyway, I am not saying that. And 20th Century Boys would be such an outstanding anime, as I would really like to see this work take life. And just imagine the soundtrack! It could be the soundtrack... of the Century!!

Look I've read everything but my problem with this manage is the pacing and Kanna who is a plot device. Everything before the flash forward to 2014 was really a great story. Kenji and his friends were a very good group. I didn't understand at the end if "friend" was still Fukubei or someone else
@AnimeCultureCorner2 жыл бұрын
personally, at some points for me Kanna felt like an even better protagonist than kenji. i think in the later parts she did definitely get immediately sidelined for kenji, so i get what you’re saying tho for sure

Bruh its a mystery manga of course the pacing will be slow this aint no fast pace shounen its extremely common for the pacing to be slow Naoki Urasawa's manga all of his manga do it he sets up seemingly insignificant plot threads or character which later becomes a big part of the story
@harshalgondkar99272 жыл бұрын
The first friend is Fukubei Hattori (given the mask). And second is Katsumata-kun. He is revealed in 21st century boys. He is the only one who is faceless. And has powers to bend spoons. Also the one who is also mentioned to have died and it's his ghost who is supposed to be lurking during the carp dissection.
