Yumi Chan It was so perfect that there wasn’t even a pause between the end of one going into the other like there would have been if another song were chosen to transition to. The Pokémon and Sailor Moon themes go so seamlessly well together and it’s absolutely beautiful!

Your Typical Irish Lad Hard to play ? I've got much MUCH less trouble learning a classic 12 hole ocarina in not even a few weeks and reaching a good level than learning flute (recorder-like) for 4 years in music class.

+totispyro It's because he's using a technique called "circular breathing". It's basically a technique in which you breathe through your nose while playing which allows you to keep holding a note or continue playing a part in which you'd normally be out of breath.

I found this video years ago and always loved watching it. I still haven't seen all of the anime featured, but I just finished Fruits Basket about 20 minutes ago. I sobbed on the couch and then I remembered this video, so I rushed here. I got in some good smiles before the fruits basket theme, and now I'm crying again 😭 I'm already well into adulthood, and I thought for a long time that I would stop caring so much about anime once I became an adult. The Fruits Basket part of the medley was how I first heard of the series. Something about the song on one of my favorite instruments spoke to me. I looked it up.
