When I found out Lorenz and Caspar had the same voice actor, I was so blown away. I was like “oh my God, the absolute RANGE on this guy!” and when I did some more research, wow. Loved this video 💝💙💜

I love Ben Diskin! I always recognize his voice almost immediately whenever I hear his work and that last bit at the end about how voice acting means freedom to him makes what he does even more special to me now

Same, I think the time is was the hardest for me to recognize was when I played Trails of Cold Steel. It was much more subtle compared to his other roles

I first voice of his I've heard was Eugene from "Hey Arnold." It's so cool seeing that he's voiced characters from shows that I liked until now(Codename: Kids Next Door, Aggretsuko). I can definitely hear Haida in his voice lol, and he seems like he really identifies as him by saying that "he" fixed Retsuko's laptop instead of Haida fixed her laptop.

I felt like such a dope when I found out he was Caspar in Three Houses several years after the game came out. He has one of those voices I can nearly always pick out and Caspar was straight up screaming that in my face and I still didn't notice. And THEN I found out he was also Lorenz and I was just *surprised Pikachu face*. XD

I love listening to his voice so much. One of my favorite characters of his is Kyuta Shiba in 13 Sentinels. He's also the best voice actor for Megaman since Ian James Corlett in the Ruby Spears cartoon.

I already gave up hope of ever seeing this video lol. I'm just here to say that I fucking love Lorenz and his relationships with the other Deer (and Ferdinand). Ben not having played 3H actually perfectly explains why he thinks Lorenz is an asshole. I wonder if his opinion on him has changed by now, with 3Hopes and everything.

@@bunnymoonvii Pretty much exactly what happened to me. XD I played Golden Deer first in Three Houses and the first few scenes with him had me going "Oh I am going to hate you." But by the end of that run he became that weird friend who you actually like but feel like you have to apologetically explain to everyone else.

1st off I'm kind of mad that I missed this 3 days ago but I'm gonna make up forward by commenting now and secondly: Ben is just as cool as I thought he would be and I knew it was a great idea to give Rokurou from Tales of Berseria sunglasses the minute I heard of Ben lol. Seriously I never thought the man who voiced number one of the kids next door and number 2 of the kids next door would pop up so much in my life. Plus the fact that he met his wife through Kingdom Hearts is just really cute and my jaw hit the floor when I found that he was in an episode of Drake and Josh, most likely, back in the day. It's still like this that makes me very excited to learn more about the voice actors behind the characters that I like because you never know when they popped up at some point during your childhood and live action roles or if they pop backup in more video games or anime. That said love his description about the plot of 3 houses and overall, a very fun interview with the man behind the sunglasses and cool voice! Great job Anime Impuse!

I don't really understand why this video was just....sat on if it was already completed. Didn't want to give a wrong impression with the timing? It was a really great interview, though. Didn't realize Lorenz and Caspar shared a voice, and Ben seems extremely fun to be around. Totally agree with him on Lorenz: it is hilarious watching him get continuously dunked on. Mercedes is absolutely merciless in their supports.
