Animenz, I want to take this opportunity to thank you ! I am a pianist myself, but before I discovered your Channel 2 years ago, I was rather lazy at practice and I never made any real progress. Playing the Piano was fun, but I was never motivated in becoming better. I‘d rather sit in Front of my screen and start playing video games or watching Animes than playing some random classical piece over and over again. This was until I discovered you and your Anime-arrangements. The Idea of combining my Hobby (watching Animes) with Piano was fascinating! Your arrangements were beautiful and also not that easy to play, which is why I had to improve my skills in order to Play them. Because of you I found a new purpose in practicing. And today, playing the Piano is my favourite Hobby and I strive to become as good as you. So thank you for inspiring me and I really look forward for your future arrangements! Keep doing what you are doing !
@isea11436 жыл бұрын
Fun fact: the exact samething happened to me. I even asked my parents to continue my piano lessons in my city's conservatory, but I stopped because I didn't work enough, I couldn't deal with both school and piano (and guitar). Now, I keep practising everyday on my own to improve as much as I can. Thanks Animenz for giving us motivation!
@ぶるー-g3k6 жыл бұрын
lol, I can relate to this as I was just a lazy ass that only really put in half the effort into my practice. After seeing Animenz and Theisther I kinda had a change of heart towards the piano. I stopped seeing it as something that took away my gaming or anime watching time and saw it as something that can further my love for the medium. An absolute inspiration in my case and I'm sure for many other musician out there who've seen his work.
@CC-cl6fv6 жыл бұрын
Same with me. I've been playing for a few years and I know I can be way better than I am, but I guess I'm too lazy. But seeing how far you can go with playing the piano really motivates me to do better.

The soundtrack, the artwork...a perfect rendering of the wonders of youth, how children see the world and their limitless imagination. The flamboyant colors of the artwork and the innocent playfulness of the soundtracks....all of it is mesmerizing. Studio Ghibli and the composers made a wonderful world as seen/felt by children, while showing daily struggles, but the strong emotions and relationships make it all worthwhile.
