It’s easy it’s just a filtered synth brass sound reverbed the intro isn’t a chord either it’s one finger on the A the other on the D The brass intro is A/D G/C A/D A/D G/C G/B F/A G/C and repeat

I thought those stabs were actual chords played not single notes...NO?

You can play them as single notes but I feel if you play them with the 5th involved then it really does add volume to the overall sound

I agree. The original is played on a Jupiter 8, I believe. Also, if you watch that clip closely, you'll see he's playing 4 root notes of the chords all the time, although I think they recorded it differently in the studio. From what I hear, it could be something like this, but don't pinpoint me on it, I'm not a keyboard player: (LEFT HAND-RIGHT-HAND) (DAD-DAD) (DAC-DAC) - (DAC-DAC) - (DAC-DAC) - (DAD-DAD) (DAD-DAD) (DGC-DGC) - (DGB-DGB) - (DGB-DGB) - (DGB-DGB) (CFB-CFB) - (CFA-CFA) - (CFA-CFA) - (CFA-CFA) (CFC-CFC) or something like that
