Anyone that can look at this and say it is not amazing, must be blind! Sure the animation is using controlled physics to do what it does, but I challenge any of those trying to put this down to even get close to the achievement that is Animusic! This team has worked really hard to create what they have already done, and it is undeniably the most amazing animated music project ever done! I say to the negative comment posters "Unless you can put up, shut up!"

This was an answer to all the fans who asked if they could put new music to a premade layout. He simply wrote new music and tweaked the visuals a bit, put it back through his magic software and this is the result. buy the DVDs, listen to the commentary. Quite interesting

This sounds like, if the mechanism in Pipe Dream were somehow sentient, and it recognized that people really liked it the first time, so it tried to do something even cooler and fancier but it tried too hard and it shows.
man, these things r the things that prove my point. c music to me is more than just notes, music is life, enjoyment, feeling, it is my life, my love, and it is me, i am music, have been since i was in my mothers womb lol. a friend didnt get how i can just sit and do nothing but listen to music, so i showed her some of these things and she got it lol. she isnt a fanatic like me but she likes it.

astounding video (would love to see how they timed it all), but that was one Lame ending, i was waiting for a grand finally of ball-bearings flying in every direction at once

For them I don't believe money is a factor. One doesn't work on a project like this because it will make them rich. One works on a project like this simply because they love what they are doing. I for one certainly love the fact that this was made period.

@Komory Actually the instrument in the cntre is not a xylophone. The metal keys make it a glockenspiel. I'm pretty the travelling insturment is just a normal xylophone

@iamrecognized15 жыл бұрын
I now want to build one. It would be difficult, but I think you could do the strings by doubling the strings like in a piano. The Circle Xylophone would be possible, though it would be hard to get the balls to come out the same hole... The drums same issue. The Xylophone keys on the track would have to replaced though, as they would be too hard to set up... but still doable.

Give some one enough time and enough money, they could build somthing like this. One thing you should concieder is that there might be multiple tubbing inside each pipe, or computer controled gates that keep the ball from launching out at the wrong time. Granted if this was the case the system should be a bit bigger. But it's CGI :P Anything is possible.

yes but that would be kinda hard to do that as no air means no sound for the microphones and a few of the cymvbals are gyrating at such a high velocity hitting them twice in a row would be stupid
@JonasClark13 жыл бұрын
@the14d If you look carefully in a high-res copy, there are dents in the walls and floor where balls missed their targets. 2 has far more dents than 1.

From the Animusic website: " Do you have sheet music or MIDI files available? Unfortunately we do not have either sheet music or MIDI files available for purchase. " Of course, I'm not saying sheet music won't be out there, but someone will have had to transcribe it themselves.

@4052jartsa Couldn't you have counted the notes and set them on loops? Alternatively, download a MIDI of it, then load it into FL Studio, which for some reason tells you how many notes are in a track.
