Rejection of nomination papers of candidates should be done after giving a chance to correct it once. The nomination paper should be scrutinized by the concerned officer and errors if any, should be pointed out. Thereafter, the candidate should be given an opportunity to correct it or file another set of nomination papers. Rejection should be done if there are mistakes after giving an opportunity for correction only.
