Same story with European nations importing Russian oil and gas... It doesn't go via Nordstream or Ukraine anymore, but we now use Turkye as our transporthub... Same story with the ISS, where Americans, Europeans and Russians still work together as if there has never been a SMO. Just facts that you will not hear in the western mainstream media. It are not companies who are fighting each other, but governments. And the moment a peace agreement will be signed all trade will go on as if nothing ever happened... That's just the way it goes. It has always been like that, and I will always remain like that.... Although I must of course admit that many Russian investors took over the role of some of the western companies that did in fact leave Russia, thus in those sectors there will be less room for western companies to come back.

Putin is fluent in German. He was posted in Berlin, East Germany as a KGB agent when USSR fell under Gorbachov, an incident that Putin considered as deeply personal tragedy. He actually used to speak with Angela Merkel in German without a translator.

May I correct you on one point: Putin was not stationed in Berlin, but from 1985 to 1990 in Dresden, Saxony as a KGB agent.
