I am a US citizen and live close to Indian Embassy in Washington, D.C. Some time ago, when Modiji visited Washington and our Indian diaspora was present in large number, I saw Sandhu saheb greeting Modiji and everybody present there. I was so impressed with his humbleness being India's Ambassador that I instantly became his die hard fan. During his tenure as an ambassador, he represented India with commendable grace. He is a precious gem of our beloved motherland. I am so glad to see he is contesting election as a BJP candidate. May God give blessings and success to my very dear Sandhu saheb. When I will get the news of his victory on 4th June, I along with my Punjabi community here in the US will celebrate that day as another Dewali. Our best wishes are with Sandhu saheb. Vanday Maatram. I could not agree more with Mr. Sandhu. As an NRI who lives in North America, I have seen how young people coming from India, largely from Punjab, are struggling and end up doing manual jobs such as working as delivery persons or working in Subways or coffee shops. The insecurity lives within and many would not share the harsh reality, but it is the next generation who get the benefit. It's a hard choice to make between a hopeless life within certain regions of India or a struggling yet hopeful future in Western countries. Punjab needs a complete makeover where young people can thrive. Years of corruption, drugs, and inability of politicians have jointly resulted in such hopeless situation.

seems another of those conversations with a newbie and relatively less significant player in the polls from bureaucracy segment with the routine stereotype questions associated with the diplomatic stint and political journey, family back ground, parents legacy and so called SGPC connection, the higher education and prospects of authoritarian party in state, unemployment and startup culture, the consulate and agriculture and cargo facility, publicity ministers policies and current govt equation with opposition members, breakaway with religious party, so called diaspora connection etc but missed out on how jailed convict is contesting elections, the contribution of the centre in curbing the drug menace and the other issues in state, the mess created with agriculture with policies and MSP and proposing the new rotation policies, the plans to curb the so called conversion in state and others get ignored as usual!!

In order to reform Punjab and re energies Punjab,it is necessary to first throw up congress and AAM parties from soil of Pakistan, rethink of reforming the existing systems with more vigor,longsighted Ness, provide atmosphere towards reinvestment of startup, industries. The reforms may take ten years time.Punjab has to give time to bjp for recreating Punjab economy, reenergies the Punjab traditios and take pride in its culture, get Punjab out from drug menace and take it to path of light.Lots of work have to be done there but first throw the rogue politics and politicians out of Punjab and keep good party in power which can think of Punjab overall development, traditios etc.
