Baloch activists seek UN intervention to stop human rights violations in Balochistan

Baloch political and human rights activists have demanded immediate intervention by the UN to stop gross human rights violations in Balochistan. The Baloch Human Rights Council organised a demonstration at Broken Chair, emphasising the brutalities and atrocities by Pakistan’s security forces.The activists called for the UN to send a peacekeeping force to the region to protect the lives of thousands of Baloch people.They also demanded that those responsible for crimes against humanity be brought to justice at an international court.
