We think Moenjodaro and Harappa were discovered in the 1920s. This is wrong. It was discovered almost 100 years earlier and the British rushed a team to Iraq (Mesopotamia) as a consequence. When they realised the significance of the findings (out of India) they not only spent the next few decades removing all evidence of the link and then used what remained as ballast for the Lahore-Multan railway, they also partitioned India to keep the sites in the hands of "fellow Abrahamics"! Why was this so important for them? The origins of known civilizations demolished the carefully built narratives around what was projected to be the roots of "Western Christian Identity"! Partition was an elaborate coverup!

There is no evidence for any Culture or language the steppe people have introduced in India. Only assumptions. The entire backbone of this theory is a bunch of assumptions like a non existant PIE which we have no evidence of. We have no evidence of their Culture. Only some assumptions and whataboutery. Even the paper on AMT itself is shady considering how the calculations for median age was done so that it fits with the timeframe of the aforementioned AMT. If the median age goes up or above by a few digits it become too late or too early for a supposed Aryan Picnic. Not only that the Steppe people had east Asian ancestry. But Indians have no trace of any east Asian. The only logical explanation is that the Shakas/Scythians who show a decreasing gradient of East Asian ancestry from east to west gave us our Steppe Ancestry. Not only that multiple invasions have been recorded in our history such as the Huns, The Scythians, The Greeks etc. Who indeed had steppe ancestry. So it seems more plausible that the aforementioned groups gave us Indians our Steppe ancestry and not the Steppe pastorialists as their number is quite insignificant to introduce steppe ancestry in all of Indians. So this throws out the Idea of yours that Dravidians were the IVC people and Aryans introduced Sanskrit and whatever bs you guys concoct. @@goddalehundibharathraj4374

Smita madam , you are now a pioneer. The mainstream media just shut up on this subject. The very prospect of formally challenging the AIT was apparently a no no for the anglicised gentry and public intellectuals which included media , academia and strategic thinkers. It was as though they were kicking the can down the road under the plea that it is early days to conclude anything so why stick our neck out in giving the new thought leaders any chance ? This chapter has to be taken head on. We need massive amounts of multipronged research into archeology , epigraphy , architectural history, metallurgical studies of early bronze age and earlier periods. Now that we are laying a claim to resurrect our collossal civilisation we need hard empirical evidence and ground facts. Govts must be punched into action by mass awareness and pull factor. Please concentrate on a badly neglected subject which is now a policy priority - Indian Knowledge System. Pl interview people like Raghava Krishna founder of Brhat, the Indic reniassance organisation. He is a scintillating intellectual. The pushback against IKS is severe. Pl intervene , bring the subject above the water level. Remember Neera Mishra was solidly prevented from archeologucal excavations in Purana quila for 30 years by the lobby backed by none less than the Aga Khan. They wanted to put the start of the history of Delhi with the Islamic invasions and shut out everything else before that. Please act , you have great credibility. Give the new evidences and scholars a wide berth.

Ms. Smitha Prakash, Your subject video, your choice of the narrator, ie. Shri Sanjay Manjul and your questions put to him are very valid, brilliant and scintillating. It seemed as if I were myself asking questions which has racked my brains for many years. I would like to put my own theory of the Indian civilisation as I see it. There is no doubt that we can trace our ancestry to Africa. But there were two streams, one coming to India via the sea route from Magadascar and the other coming through the land route, from Kenya. At that time the continents had begun to drift apart. The sea route people were short and sturdy while the land route people were tall} and lanky. They maintained different cultural outlook. In Kenya there is s snow covered mountain called Killimanjaro, shortenened Kailas, by the Indians. They worshipped the dead, i.e., ancestral worship. Where the lanscape lacked mountains, they created stone grave edifices. The Pyramids are a replica of the mountains. The Magdascaran people who came by sea, cremated their dead, or put their remains in mud cisterns, buried them underground. You can see such sites in Kerala. The differencec between these two migrators was that the people in the south believed in the soul which returned to earth after a cycle. Hence on one auspicios date they would offer these souls good food, while the Kenyans believed that they would enter snother world and the descendents would would furnish them with food, weaons, servants etc to accompany them in the next world. Such belief gave rise to the gods, Indira, Varuna, Vayu, Agni etc. You can see the connections of words like, Simha, (lion), Shul (spear), Shav (dead body) and Shiv (god) associated with the Kailas mountain. There are many more thoughts to be shared with you, but later.

Well What an proud I was knew it we are the first civilization on the earth 🌎 all credit goes to veda's and Avatar and rishi and scriptures. Thanks to the respectful Sanjay sir Who reminds me Sanjay of Mahabharata who played the same role of the proof 🧾 of Bharat and Mahabharata and our civilization and advanced development and all etc. Kudos and bow down to all above.🙏

Kudos to Dr. Manjul that despite the scarcity of fund available in the last decade to Archaeological Survey of India from the Union Government he had concentrated work in some fronts. There is a huge scarcity of such fund in the North East India.

Very informative podcast. Once all the evidence and archaeological findings are conclusively validated, perhaps the ancient history taught in our schools needs to be revisited altogether. This could help us in challenging the Aryan invasion theory, Dravidian civilization, and all other commonly held beliefs.

Smitaji, firstly thank you for inviting Dr. Manjul for this extremely informative podcast. But one request; please do not interrupt the guest so much. Allow him to complete his answers. No hard feelings please, this was just constructive feedback 🙏🏼
Thanks for calling these type of people to have clear knowledge and understand about historical evidences that we can trust rather than politicians misuse and changing history for a purpose playing with cultures and religion and dividing lands.

Smita, extremely interesting program. Scientific. Incisive. Informative. Looking forward to more such programs that would encourage more research on Bhartiya archaeology. Suggest similar program on South Indian Dravidian archaeology

Madam l am a new follower of your page. My humble request is to restrain yourself from interupting the guests so much. Most of your questions were less constructive and more disruptive. He is an expert of his subject. Let him speak and guide him covering all topics. What a great subject you had in this video yet so poorly treated.

Wow, what an amazing show! Absolutely loved this program, based on facts and science! No wonder we will find the actual Maha Bharat war location and some weapon remnants, permanently shutting out all nay sayers! Great work Dr. Manjul, loved to hear that your whole family is involved in archeology! We will look forward to many more discoveries!

This is an interesting and important podcast; unfortunately, for those who don't understand Hindi, there aren't even English sub titles to help them know what is being discussed. This omission excludes them completely.
