Thank you for doing this, for preserving our language that I wish to learn as an adult. I unfortunately was removed from my anishanaby family when i was young.

Greetings! I'm here on a quite peculiar reason for I just finished translating Angeline Boulley's "Firekeeper's daughter" into russian. Loved researching ojibwe culture, traditions and spirit which felt close and touching. Will live with that imprint further. Thanks for you care and hardwork to preserve and develop your native culture and traditions.

I will be purchasing this along with some other gems I stumbled across by great luck. I’ve just started learning my Anishinaabemowin and I feel a deep connection to my spirit when I speak it. Great job Wanda and I feel very inspired by this as I am on my own journey of writing a book and hopefully a dictionary one day. I will be sure to leave you a credit in my books and if I ever try to make an alphabet version, I will also be sure to let everyone know it is because of you, that I have decided to try to share your gifts. Ahow! Miigwech!

Thank you for sharing this. I am writing a choral song with a friend who is a member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa & Chippewa Indians of Peshawbestown, Michigan. We are incorporating some Ahishinaabemowin phrases, and I’m very excited about it!

Wanda, thank you for posting this. I have a question. Is there a double “e”? I am collaborating with a friend who is a tribal member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa & Chippewa Indians of Peshawbestown, Michigan, and the lyrics she wrote are “Gaawii Gegoo Goshkiiwin” (translated as “there is no more fear”), and "Gaaggee Zaag’aa” (translated as “I will love you for all time”). In this instance, she has “Gaaggee” with a double ee. Is that correct? I didn’t see “ee” in your video. Thank you for your help.

Such a wonderful speaking voice!! 💖 all the love and praise for you and your book, here in oskana ka~asâstêki, Saskatchewan!! I don’t speak Ojibwa yet but I have family that speaks it, so I feel like it would be absolutely amazing to be able to finally get that goal accomplished. It’s so interesting how similar nêhiyawêwin and Anishinaabemowin are!! My favourite was ziibi>sîpiy ᓰᐱᕀ (river) :3
