Its not the most important role, as high dps can always outperform just about anything you have. The former a rank team he was in already had a healer, he himself was basically a tactician which is more so a leader role. He can buff, heal, go offensive whenever the team is lacking in that role. The issue is how some games don't incorporate the importance of a tactician in the group. Everyone flocks to healing like that's the heart of the team when it's not.

It's the same formula with all the same old tropes. We find out the protagonist with a generic character design and personality that is looked down on or cast aside by others is secretly overpowered, suddenly he's surrounded by a harem of 3-4 female characters (because that's all women are used for in these series), dreams of conquering the demon king, blah blah blah. Once the revenge plot was over, this series became so insanely boring, I just couldn't finish it.
