The problem is that what Viltrum does violates people's autonomy, and they don't see people as individuals, only members of a species. Back during World War, some people were tortured in ways that I don't even want to describe... but because of what their bodies went through, we gained knowledge of the human body and medical advancement that we never would have otherwise. Do the lives we have saved now because of that advancement justify the torture that they suffered through? No, of course not.

Humans (specifically a certain variety of humans...) have made it their goal to see themselves as better than others and to do that they reduce or hinder everyone else. Viltrumites don't do that. All the planets they conquer and have full control over are peaceful and prospering. Far fewer die with Viltrumites than with humans. My money is on the fictional super people😂

He does get beat up a lot. But to be fair, that’s par for the course for Viltrumites. They’re sort of like metal, the more pressure they’re put under, provided they survive, the stronger they get. That’s why they constantly compete and fight, it makes them stronger. Also, they grow more and more powerful as they age. Mark is an itty bitty baby compared to most Viltrumites. Between his soft upbringing and young age, he’s extremely weak compared to most Viltrumites. The only advantage he has is that his father is an elite warrior and his genes have high potential.
