I am a card maker and everything is stamps and die cuts, but drawing a tangle is showing so much more creativity. It is also a craft that travels well. I camp around and can just throw in some pens and paper and relax at the camp site. Thank you for sharing.

I like to draw zentangle because the feeling of my hands dancing all over the paper fills my heart with peace and joy.

I agree with you. It is very therapeutic. I also like the fact that when I’m done I have something very pleasing which isn’t always true with my other art.

Hi Melanie I got interested in this art form not knowing it is zentangle when l was on holiday in Bangkok. A colleague asked me to join an evening drawing class. It's Zentangle. Wow. I finally met my interest. Have been tangling for over a year and very happy to have you sharing your talents with all of us. Thank you so much.

i started in 6/2014 after my mom died and she was a painter... i needed something to connect with and Zentangle was the answer. later, it became my physical therapy after a serious slip and fall and i learned to tangle with my nondominant hand to help my dominant hand relearn how to function. now, it is part of my daily practice for peace of mind, brain balancing, and to use all the tools I invested in when i thought I'd never walk or drive again.

I am learning Zentangle because I am a perfectionist which prevents me from getting into a big art project. With Zentangle there are no mistakes which I find relaxing

Like several have said before me, it has shown me that I can draw and I do have some little bit of artistic Ability flowing in my veins. It helps with caregiver stress and boy do I tune out the world and get lost in the process. Lovely happening. ❤️

Tangling not only helps me cope with anxiety, but it has been a major factor in helping me recover from domestic abuse. And I just love to tangle, and always look forward to your videos 💕

Thanks, Melinda. I enjoy following your lessons. I was invited to take a Zentangle lesson during Covid. I have found that doing Zentangle helped me cope with the trials we all had to endure during those difficult months. I was able to center myself and now I find that I want to do at least one tile a day at least. Thanks again!

This one looks beautiful, cannot wait till tonight. This is when I tangle, after dinner. I discovered Zentangle in January and fell in love with it. I am glad I found all those videos on KZbin with all those organic beautiful tangles. I am proud of my work because normally I cannot draw anything. I tangle for relaxation, anxiety and stress. It helps to forget everything else for a while. Always looking forward to it. Thank you very much Melinda for your videos!

SO much fun with this one, thank you. This Zentangling has been an evolving adventure. I actually didn't think much of it, at first. Now....yep, it's wonderful. Extra time during 2020 was part of the deal...I am actually becoming SO observant, of natural patterns. And now, Spring has happened again!! So many blessings to me. Relaxing, and with beautiful outcomes.

I tangle for the artistic enjoyment I get from creating a beautiful pattern. I also find it very relaxing. I tangle on tiles but mostly on greetings cards for friends and family. I really enjoy watching your videos and look forward to watching a ew one every week. Thank you for all the wonderful patterns I am learning 😊

I love both of the tiles you did! Shows the difference in a smaller and larger tangle. I like the square tile the way you added the edge tangle into the design. I tangle because I think it helps with stress and depression. Keeps your mind busy and off of the negative. Helps with pain also. Thank you so much Melinda! 💕🙏

Melinda - I just tried placing an order and use the discount code but it said I’ve already used it. I placed an order a couple of weeks ago. Can you only use the discount code one time? Just curious.

Malinda, I LOVE your teaching style and thank you for the patterns you share. But please, reconsider the benefit that dreary funeral dirge music lends to your videos.
