This is I believe is the original version of the song 'Burlington Burtie,' sung my Male-impersonator Vesta Tilly. The parady 'Burlington Burtie from Bow' was written by the husband of fellow Male-impersonator Ella Shields. Shields became as well known as Burt as Ella. That version of the song has over shadowed the oiriginal.

That’s not true. She certainly was bankrupt but these days she is back touring and working in theatre
