I watched the film about her titled catching fire a few months ago at the art house cinema near where i live, really enjoyed the film. Unfortunately the art house cinema is struggling badly financially, and is reducing it's opening hours to just four evenings a week and even then it will still be a struggle to survive😢, it used to be open all day and evenings seven days a week, I have seen many great films and art exhibitions there over the years. And a lot of these films would never be put on at the mainstream cinemas, i really hope it survives. Great job once again emma. 🙌🙋♂️

When I saw the thumbnail, you immediately reminded me of Pamela Courson. 😮 So happy that I came across your channel. Can't wait to check out more videos. 😊

You look like the lovechild of Anita Pallenberg, Stevie Nicks and Marianne Faithfull! I absolutely love your videos💕

Thanks for the video, Emma! 🤗 I'm a big fan of the smokey eye look. Wasn't aware it began in the 60s. But I'm not surprised. The 60s was a cornucopia of creativity. Looking forward to the lookbook.

I didn't know about Anita for this moment, but it's very interesting to learn something about her. Thank you, baby! Fabulous makeup! Amazing video! 😍💛

Thanks darling!🌟 I absolutely adore her and fashion sense and her eclectic late 60s style and I just figured sharing a bit of a different make up look would be fun!✨

Love your video. You have done a very good job with the makeup and a little history about the iconic Anita. FYI...the first photo you posted of Brian and " Anita" is in fact Brian Jones and his gf after Anita who was called Suki Poitier. Suki and Anita looked similar but there were differences. Thought you'd want to know because otherwise the rest of your tutorial / video is a lovely tribute to Anita Pallenberg.

Do you also get inspiration from the iconic Jean Shrimpton and Anita's friend, my favourite performer, Marianne Faithfull- in my mind, she possesses the most beautiful REAL mouth in the world... Great nostalgia, thanks from an Old Flower Child in Canada who still watches Performance and Girl on a Motorcycle

I love your channel, largely because I remember the 60's and 70's well (born in '61) and used to watch my mum get ready to go out to a nightclub..it involved lots of kohl, mascara and hairspray. I'd love it if you ever make a tutorial for Ingrid Pitt's beautiful 60's eye makeup, or Sharon Tate's from the Fearless Vampire Killers...pretty similar eye makeup styles with beautiful liner placement and false lashes.

Thank you so much for your kind words and sharing your memories with me!💛 That’s such a good suggestion, they’re both beautiful and amazing actresses with wonderful styles. I already did a video on Sharon Tates Makeup (kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqbTlZSIrMyEmrM) but I would love to make one for her Fearless Vampire Killers look✨

@@EmmaRosaKatharina If you ever do I'd love to see it (the film's one of my favourites). Growing up, I always wanted to look like Ingrid. Sadly I don't of course, but from what I've read of her she had a lovely personality, as did Sharon. I'm off to check out your Sharon video now. Again, thanks for making these. I also like the fact that you do research the women you make the videos about so that those (not my age who were "there" at the time, ha!) watching can come to know a little about them, that they aren't just fading images onscreen or in old magazines but that they lived often rich, fascinating, sometimes exciting and too often tragic lives.

Hey em,how are you?glad to see another vlog from you,I like Anita's style, you can layer like makeup, but I do like the casual plain look,it was a big deal in the 1960s,1970s,Mary Quant did the same, light brown eye shadow sometimes,or brown nail polish, cilla black might be one I would like to see, Maureen Cox, Ringos first wife, would like to have read her book, she was big on the black eye makeup, Dusty Springfield, another on the black eye makeup, not always washing it off the night before, not for me,I would like a fresh look, but hey whatever works for the person.really enjoying your vlogs em,this will keep you busy.hopefully we can all get back to normal right?,thanks em
