For me, it's no secret that we all need to practice social distancing to minimize the spread of the virus and Johnny has preached that in his lives, so to see him still get together with friends and get real close to them is real concerning for not just his health, but his family's health as well as everyone who they come across. Now that being said, to see John not run and hide from the problem is really commendable for someone his age. He was mature about the whole thing, he didn't make excuses, and owned up to his mistakes, which is really the best thing to do in this situation. Johnny has earned more of my respect and admiration for this and he shouldn't feel bad anymore because it's also about him forgiving himself for the mistake. As long as he learns from this mistake and leads by example, he'll be alright. For all the people on the live that said don’t apologize because we all make mistakes is completely wrong. Part of making mistakes is owning up to them and apologizing for them just because they are a “influencer” or “celebrity” doesn’t mean they don’t have to do certain things like we do. okay unpopular opinion: this is dumb. people shouldn't hate him for this. you can quarentine with another family/group of friends if both parties have been quarentined for 14 days. then you have to quarentine for another 14 days before hanging out/quarentining with another group of people to the ones you were previously doing so with. this is what some other influencers are doing, like sway and clubhouse. john didn't have to apologise to people but him doing so is extremely responsible as well as the fact they were all six feet apart and he didn't even go in the house. they didn't have to do that since they had probably all been quarentined. there are people who aren't doing this and are going out with loads of different people who haven't been quarentined yet people are still stanning them. it doesn't make sense why people are hating him. also here in england we haven't been in quarentine for as long as they have in america but they are about to send us back to school full time litterally in june so what john did wasn't so bad

It's really 2 things and before I say it, I want to point out this is to help inform you on what's going on, and that I have so much love and respect for Johnny and his talent as a performer, he's an incredible kid but anyways 1. When you come across people, you don't know what they may be carrying or not in terms of diseases and on top of that you don't know if you're a carrier yourself, and that person you come across could have someone who's immune system is compromised and now they're a carrier. That's the first thing, second thing is he preaches social distancing and staying safe when travelling which, in the tik tok, he's not doing and many people have been saying that's hypocritical, which to me he's not it was a genuine mistake, but could've been a fatal one to someone. That's essentially what's going on, and yeah people are going too far with it, but he did what he did, he owned up to it, and he accepted the responsibility and backlash for it, now it's just about moving on and supporting him more to show that we've forgiven him.
