Thanks for your reaction. I attended his Moscow concert, and Dimash put on quite a show. I love his versatility and am thankful that he sang songs that we can sing along to and not just the chorus. I personally do not listen to Dimash just for high notes, his low and mid are just as powerful and I enjoy listening to all of it. Please continue to react to more performances 🌹🇺🇲

You've gotta type in Dynasty concert and watch the first 2 songs. It's screaming with the rap then lay down. You'll understand better. Both songs are poppy and upbeat, it's a great way to keep the crowd going. I play this song full blast when I'm out burning gas. A DEAR from Reno Nv 🤘

I love this song. It shows that dimash is not just the Babe Ruth of signing, but rather an all star multi athlete. During his Arnau concert SOS followed this song. This adds crazy diversity to his set lists. It’s a chance to stop sitting and to stop taking in the amazing show and just relax and loosen up and enjoy yourself a little.

Your comments are pretty right-on-the-mark. This is a relatively new single from him. It feels like he's trying to expand his audience to bring in younger fans with this more radio-friendly music. As others pointed out, this was recently #1 in China. This is likely one of the first live performances in this big concert which also had many of the songs we are used to hearing from him. I've noticed in several of his song releases, especially the more pop ones, he stays close to the recording in early performances, then evolves them as they go along. One particular example is his single for Screaming is quite soft, and his eventual performance of it on Idol Hits program is much bigger and harder edged. I like this song for its catchiness and more youthful feel, even though it isn't even close to my top 10 Dimash favorites, and it will probably bring in younger fans to his bigger repertoire. And it does add some variety as well.

The only way to grow as an artist IMO is to take risks, imagine a concert with 2/3 hours performing, he needs a vocal break because most of his songs are hard to sing. I like the song.

@@ginag2376 Dont worry, Dimash parents are singer, Dimash has a very good vocal technique since 5 years old, I think he knows when he needs to rest and if you notice lately Dimash is singing without putting the voice in stress, when he sings in high notes he does it in voice of opera, which is a great technique

I agree, the song is mainstream pop crap but Dimash needs these. If he goes insane and performs world-beating vocal feats/acrobatics and techniques in every song then they won't sound as incredible as before because every one (especially those who listen to Dimash a lot) will get used to it. Plus, I like how he shows his phenomenal flexibility. The only thing I ask is for Dimash to continue working on his English pronounciation.

I didnt like this at first, it was so ordinary because we used to wow effect from dimash, but l gave it another try and l found this cool now. Dimash said he must go in different direction otherwise it wil be boring to listeners and l think he is right. In the concerts, those types of songs are welcomed to rest from difficult songs and dinamic of the concert.

Hi Chris i respect your opinion and .I liked the song Lay Down and another new song Give me your love where he is the author of music for it .I was at this concert in Moscow .Full concert and music was different as well as people .He had to sing and communicate in Chinese, Russian, Kazakhstan and English,and no one is deprived of attention , from his energy is off the charts and no high notes .I have favourite songs where no extreme performance ,but it touches my hearte .I many interviews he says that it is highly idealized that he is still young and he has yet to learn .

Hi Chris Its his own song and I watched this live. So he was singjng live but it was recorded during the concert. Dimash always sings live. This was at his concert in Moscow, realy enjoyed it. Like the others have said, this was a live concert in Moscow. I saw it as it happened because someone I subscribe to was showing it live (ssshhh! Don't tell!) He later took it down when Dimash's dad requested that people take down the concert for copyright reasons. Anyway, this was toward the beginning of the concert, and many people there had never seen Dimash live. There was, and always seems to be a feeling of Dimash wanting people to enjoy themselves. So it seems a good choice--one to get people to relax and enjoy. Dimash's concerts are LONG, with many kinds of music and experiences. Thank you, Chris! Always enjoy your reactions and analysis.

Especially bcs he is a soloist, in 2-3 hours long concert i prefer him taking a break here and there with a rather "easy" song instead of singing hard continuously like all his powerful songs, it's not good for his throat/voice. Also singing songs with different genres or styles is better for me than hearing ballads and powerful sing for 3 hours, it'll feel a bit tiring tbh ._. I personally love this song tho XD (just my opinion)

Are any songs actually challenging for Dimash? Bonsoir Chris. Dimash a donné 02 concerts en 02 jours et en live. Cet enregistrement est du deuxième jour. Pas évident pour une voix, même pour lui. Par ailleurs, cette chanson est sienne et nouvelle. Le style est assez......."exotique" par rapport à ce qu'il a l'habitude d'interpréter, mais il est jeune, il innove, et c'est clair que cela diffère de ses "standards", mais ne serait-ce pas tomber dans une "certaine routine" que de l'attendre avec des "highnotes" ou un style opéra à chaque interprétation ?

I think that the crossover is more suitable for Dimash. At a concert in Moscow, he presented the song Ascolta La voice. In his performance it sounded strong and expressive. I actually agree that this song is a rather tame one. However, as you said it, there might be a need for such a one, whether to get on the radio or to provide a calm pause on stage (this was part of his D-Dynasty concert tour, in Moscow ). It’s a nice song that fans can sing along with and which gives his vocal chords a bit of a rest during a two an a half hour concert. Of course it’s not a classic or his best but it’s catchy and as you said radio ready. I like that you give honest opinions, dziękuje bardzo x

It has this concert filler vibe to it. The older Dimash gets the harder it will be to blow the audience with every song and honestly this must feel pretty relaxing for Dimash to sing. I think its smart to cater to different genre and also show that he has a song or two that could be played on the radio. We all know that his usual stuff would never be played on the radio, i do like that he isnt using his normal opera voice here. Hes slowly dipping his toes deeper into different genre and his Screaming song showed how he could combine them if he wants. Since hes not doing more competitions now he needs to have a song or two like this to cater to the mainstream.

when we see him do crazy high notes and crazy things, they've all been covers. not his songs. i think he wants to sing music that his fans can sing with him. i think thats important to him, hence Screaming isn't a crazy vocal song, nor was this, or Give Me Your Love. that one is sooo much fun though.

The reason it sounds more studio is he is staying right in his mid range. Mostly just playing with a few notes. Changing tone more than notes. This and his MJ tribute (give me your love tonight)are made for the western market (US). Most of his songs no one can sing to them really. So you are right it is for I think the radio more so. He sings 20 or more songs in a concert so he needs vocal break. This allows him to rest in a sense but still give a good show. I enjoy the song, it is pop and fun. Might not be my favourite type of song but it is good. 😊

Все разборки Криса идут только с точки зрения РОКа. Если не похоже на то, как рок-певцы бесятся на сцене, то, значит, НЕ ТО. Ему не понравилось это выступление Димаша - вот что он сказал: "Димаш всегда остается в строке мелодии, не изменяясь ни в одном стихе - они почти одинаковые. Нет сумасшедшего бриджа в середине, где бы он бросился в импровизацию. Здесь все откалибровано, вероятно, для телешоу, где нет свободы просто «молиться», как он хочет.
