Just upgraded from the XS to a 13 Mini, so bought this for when I'm out and about, and to trigger standby mode when I'm home. I'd originally got a battery bank more like Apple's own, but returned it in favour of this much more useful one. Thanks for the content.

Is the 633 too bulky? 5000mAH is just not a lot. I still wanna have the right balance between size and capacity.
@norgtube Жыл бұрын
I usually carry a nitecore 10AH pack and the original version of the adapter doodad you linked (a rolling square incharge x). Magsafe packs are great in theory but in my experiance they charge quite slowly right when you need a charge the most. With a good pack (that'll do 20w, basically), you can put 50% back into a modern phone in just half an hour. Magsafe charging is 15w but most packs won't put out as much (this anker does 7,5w), AND it's super inefficient. Looks sleek though, and the one-handed experience is better while charging.

Thanks for your comment. I agree, the best way to go is always going to wired for efficiency and, like you said, I do like the MagSafe just for the convenience aspect while on the go. The Anker 633 (10AH) will give both the MagSafe and 20w wired output but obviously comes in a larger package.

This is the updated one with Type C on the side. Could you tell us more about the heat management on this one. Would be really helpful.😊
@YourEverydayGear Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment. You are correct it is the updated version. It is really good and definitely better than the original Anker 622. Just sat my phone on the battery for the past two hours and there is no heat when picking up the phone with the battery on it. If you took the battery off, it would feel just slightly warm on the back of the phone. hope that helps.

hey thanks for all the great information. I wanted to know would a iphone 14 pro max fit on this model?
@YourEverydayGear Жыл бұрын
My wife has a 14 pro max and yes the battery will fit on the back of the phone. It will support the weight of it as a kickstand in both landscape and portrait orientation.

Does it enable you to use standby mode while not having it plugged into an outlet? And does it enable it when you have plugged it into an outlet? Would really help me
@YourEverydayGear Жыл бұрын
If I am understanding your question correctly, yes, you can have the Anker battery on standby mode (connected but not charging a device) both when the battery is plugged into an outlet and not. Let me know if this isn’t what you were looking for. Thanks for your comment.

thoughts on the anker 622 vs the 633?
@YourEverydayGear Жыл бұрын
Both are going to charge wirelessly at the same speed and have a kickstand. The 622 is the get you to a full charge if you have a smaller phone (not an iPhone max) or get you through a long day. The 633 may be better for travel or if you are going to have heavy usage all day. It will also charge faster wired (20 watts) than the 622. If you are going to be using one every other day I would go with the less bulky 622. If you want one that will cover your needs more broadly or have a larger phone, go with the 633.
@fiona2488 Жыл бұрын
thank you so much for that! I ended up going with the 633 because of the higher power since I have the iphone 15 pro max. I have a powerbank that i love for travel, this is more more easy of carrying around in case I need it during the day @@YourEverydayGear

Mine is not charging anymore. Bought this a month ago and it's not working anymore. I just use it as my phone stand. Anybody here who knows how I can fix this?
@YourEverydayGear Жыл бұрын
They have a warranty for at least a year from the date of purchase. Go to the Anker website to file a claim. Should only cost the postage for return.
