Great idea! I once took a power bank with me on a camping trip to charge my phone, only to forget the USB cable. I felt like such a muppet. Fortunately I was able to borrow one from a mate, but now I have a sticky label attached to it telling me to pack the USB cable. This is a great idea by Anker for those grab and go in a hurry situations, like during all the tornado outbreaks we are having in Ohio of late.

I like the idea too. Can just pack one thing and not have to worry about "extras" which I am sure we have all forgotten at one point or another.

@tjaco134 ай бұрын
I have this and I like it but something that bothers me about it is the shape/size of the power bank in combination with the length of the attached cable. Given that the cable is so short if you need to use the phone for anything while it's charging with that cable you'd need the to hold the bank behind the phone but because it's so wide it is hard to hold both the bank and your phone on top of it. It feels too clunky. I personally would prefer to see it be slimmer even if that means the device needs to be longer and wider. I often find myself using an external cable for this reason instead of the included cable. This would also make it easier to slip both devices in my pocket while charging.

If it's a non supporting fast charge device, will the power bank charge it with a same percentage of power bank battery through time as if it's pushing fast charging devices ? I mean the 10% of power bank battery should be drained slower when a non fast charge device is connected in the same port, am i right?
@Wanderer001_Reviews_ClipsКүн бұрын
If a device can not do fast charging it will push the max that the device can take. That does not mean that it will push "fast charging" speeds to a device that can not handle it.

I absolutely HATE built-in cables! If the cable goes bad, you've lost an entire port. Plus, it just looks bad - the 533 looks so much better. Lastly, it makes sure you can not use a higher quality cable even if you wanted ir needed to. If they would lose the cable, id like the nano better than the 533.

Mokin makes a pimp one.. I’m with you though. It screams Tacky. But.. The one I’m talking about does 65w and the attached type c tucks in way nice and both ends are removable if you don’t want it on.. so not permanent attached. It uses a right-angle connector to stay flush. Oh and they cost like $40 which is killer for all the PD and PPS charge modes they have.

@@RationallySkeptical I use an oscilloscope with my tablet. The tablet at about 75% battery doesn’t supply enough power to run the oscilloscope. @@RationallySkeptical I can give you a realistic scenario: I am away, found a wall plug, want to top up power bank AND my mobile / cell which is dying. thanks for a GENUINE review :) p.s. while I like this power bank, there are two things that annoy me - the built-in cable which is way too short, and even shorter because of that clip that holds it in place, and the shape of the power bank, way too bulky, when it should have been flatter, size of cell phone. That said, I might have seen some info on anker power banks that they use TWO charging units (or 'batteries', whatever you call them) inside, perhaps that's the reason for the shape. And well, pass-through charging while topping up would be useful. Also, the button is in an awkard place, but that's a minor annoyance.

I have seen the same with multiple powerbanks and wall chargers (GaN). Only the original Samsung wall charger seems capable of charging the S23 at 25w constant. It has to do something with the current/voltage tolerances built into the S23.
