I've used the Anker Power 10,000 battery bank and found excellent.

I picked up this battery over a year ago and is still good for day to day use. Perfect size, the only thing I would change is USB type C port for changing it. That said when I need to replace it. Anker will be the only company I would get a battery pack from.

Yeah, it's a bit long in the tooth - but solid from what I can tell. I also would like the UBC-port since I'm starting to collect more and more of those cables :)

What are the advantages of USB-C compared to micro USB?

From a charging standpoint, nothing really other than most devices are switching to it. One less type of cable to carry around. Plus I just hate micro USB. I always take a few seconds to figure out which direction I need to plug stuff in! lol

Technically I don't think so. But the specs mention the following: High-Speed Charging: PowerIQ and VoltageBoost combine to deliver a max speed charge to any device (up to 3A - Qualcomm Quick Charge not supported). Input: 5V / 2A.
