I absolutely love this, I’m a remote software engineer, and I work a lot of times out of coffee shops, and places that don’t have plugs, this thing’s a beast.

I appreciate this review so much! I recently bought the C300 AC version and since then I’ve seen almost wall to wall KZbin reviews saying the DC version is better, undoubtedly from sponsored reviewers. To me, the AC in and the AC out seals the deal for the regular C300 with the AC inverter.

I got both , but I really prefer the DC version , as al my electronics mostly use Type C (Macbook , Nintendo Switch , Rog Ally , Ipad , cameras , drones etc) , is good that there are two variants as the DC si much more compact , and I don't even need the 12V , looking forward to also get the Solix 200 , that one is even more compact

Shocked to hear about the cigarette port and heat issues. I purchased the Anker on release date and loved it so much that I purchased the C200 also. However, I haven't used the cigarette port yet so time will tell. Great content as always!

My testing can stress some units. I have a few units "trip" or go into "overload" protection mode. But never go away forever lol. The c200 looks interesting but doesn't seem to use lifePO4 batteries so hopefully it gets lots of recharge uses.

You totally missed on a lot of stuff. Battery chemistry between NMC and lifepo4. Charge cycle, weight, power output, safety features. The FJ is a NMC old battery chemistry, less safe because it doesn't have the safety features compare to lifepo4 chemistry. Doesn't put out higher watts on USB C as well. Yes you can connect a light on all of them but having a built in light and less thing to carry and forget is the thing for Anker. Ecoflow River 3 have lower capacity as well and you lose the ability to charge via USB unlike the River 2. 300 watts on a AC is not much and with the small capacity plus the extra power it uses for the inverter will net you a much lower capacity on top of that. Your comparison is like apple to orange, you just look into the price and just sail. I got the Anker for $149 and now it's a better buy for $139 during black friday. At the end, all product are direct towards what you gonna use it for, they are not built for one for all.

It's NMC batteries not MNC. NMC batteries can achieve 1000 - 2000 charge-discharge cycles, while LFP batteries typically deliver 3,000 cycles or more. I don't know about less safe. It's the preferred tech in military contracts because lifePO4 is very violate, especially in salt water and desert environments. Buy what you want but I've had the FJ Dynamics for three years and use it daily with zero issues. I've had the river 3 for nearly a year with zero issues. I have had two C300 units with numerous issues. At $139 it's a great purchase. But at list price there's no value there. Having higher capacity but lower usage makes it weak when it is DC only. NMC batteries are commonly used in smartphones, laptops, and electric vehicles. It's not "old battery chemistry" as the raw material is completely different. But purchase whatever you want

there's no price pew watts to pay itself so its an free to use it as lights backup as the power failures by using usb light strip or sticks also will charge your smart phones is wireless as well as smart watch too and even Apple Watch so it works great without using a brick chargers at all so its all plug in already and use it as well as keep one to stay fully charged until if the power went out so anker solix c300 dc will keep on running good until the power is back on and thats it

I am using the DC 12v socket to run a car fridge and I have not had any issues. Good to know that higher wattage can cause issues. I enjoy how small it is and still has a solar/car input and a 12v DC port. Also how it can charge via all 3 ports at the same time, is great in a car to charge it from the built in DC car outlets, etc.

My Ecoflow River Pro was $260 for a 720WH power station with 200W solar charging, 660W AC charging, and 600W inverter plus its expandable and has a great app. Thats an old power station, sure, but its a much better value

main reason I love the anker over any other one is the number of high power USB Type C ports , and the fact that I can charge it with power delivery with 280W is a dream , all the other features the other have do not bring me any benefit unfortunately

I purchased the c300ac and then I saw Amazon is posting the dc for black friday sale price of 140.00. I got mine for using Ham Radio I hope I don't have DC port issues. As this was main reason I got them. So hope I don't have issues with DC 12v out. As truly this is why I bought these small units to run cb and ham radios. One contender I see hitting market for consumers is Harbor Freight portable power station. The ability to go local get off shelf vs waiting over a month on products like river 3 to arrive. I think consumers will buy from HF with ease of exchange for units that may have issues.

I got 2 dc versions and an ac version at release. No issues so far but all my use is normal. Running my legion go or running a rather large dc powered fridge and charging my phone and tablets. I just got the c200, which mainly stays on my kitchen counter for phones and tablets. I have many other anker speakers, headphones, and chargers, and none have failed me yet.

To me it comes down to running small dc appliances while traveling, 12v kettles, heated blankets, 12v rice cookers, 12v immersion heaters, which all seem to draw under 100w, if this does that with its recharge potential it might be it for me, but I am torn between this and the JuiceGo, but there’s probably others I don’t know about that are still Lifepo4….

@ yeah that’s the thing about this one, I don’t know if Marine’s tests pointed to a defective device and I might be getting this wrong but there’s another KZbinr “what would josh do” and I think he did manage to charge or maybe discharge, I need to rewatch his video, but there was definitely close to 300w going through the combined ports on this thing!

I think you'd only need or want to charge this thing from AC once prior to going off grid. Then you'd only be able to charge it if there were more AC outlets available. You can simply charge it while driving or from a portable panel. If I have AC outlets available I wouldn't need this thing in the first place.
