Anker SoundCore 3 vs SoundCore 2 Bluetooth Speaker Multi Cast

In my opinion the Anker SoundCore 2 sounds better as the overal tone of the speaker is brighter. The SoundCore 3 has more bass but feels a bit muffled.
Anker SoundCore 2 can be connected as a stereo pair. You need two separate speakers for that.
Anker SoundCore 3 has the party cast option and you can connect up to 100 speakers to create the party experience. This would be 100 mono channels I suspect.

I would of bought the soundcore2 but i need the usb-c chaging that the 3 has .but will wait for sale.1 and 2 were just on sale so 3 sale probably any minute.

Thanks Mike for your review. It helps to know someone also had the same experience. I listened to both for an hour and I'm settling for v2. Despite being newer and bigger, v3 does not sound as bright and clear compared to v2. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the different material (titanium) that they used. I tried the EQ and could not get v3 to match v2. EQ does make the sound change dramatically but cannot match v2. I like usb-c connectivity and lanyard, but smaller size and brighter sound triump...

Soundcore 3 is fully running from soundcore app it has a very responsible in app

Any troubleshooting help with the pairing? Kept trying to pair two Soundcore 3 speakers but they continually won't pair together. Neither connected to anything else but for some reason they won't communicate. Bought them from the same company on Amazon and the only issue I'm seeing online is that they won't pair if they are from different regions but since these are from the same Amazon order I was imagining I wouldn't encounter that issue but alas

Btw no pressure to answer this, gonna try send them back and ask to be sent two from the same batch coz I think that's the only solution since they both individually sound amazing but just annoying they won't connect together

@@TheOnlyTaps dear its explained in the video.... pair first speaker as master.... and then press bluetooth buttin for a few seconds on the other speakers (sometimes after that press bluetotth button 2x )

Does Soundcore 3 pair in stereo when you partycast with only two speakers? aka one speaker is left channel and other speaker is right channel?

Do you have to pair the speaker every time you want them to play in party mode or will they stay in that mode everytime you turn it on?

they are paired all the time.(i keep them connected to usb all the time so they never power off) and every time I play music via the host speaker , all the speakers in party mode play without pairing. . if you power off and power back on they still keep the connection with the host speaker. i did not try other configurations

No, soundcore 3 does not have aux port. You can buy a usb bluetooth receiver, it's cheap and will be helpful for you.

Actually, both the Soundcore Select 2 and Soundcore 3 have PartyCast; the 2 having the first iteration of PartyCast and the 3, boasting PartyCast 2. To solve the lack of bass while using either of these, I use either the 2 or 3 connected via PartyCast to my Neo 2 party speaker as my stereo for my electric motorcycle: the Neo 2 on the floorboard facing up at me and either the 2 or 3 affixed to the handlebars, facing my head, really providing a well-rounded sound, loud enough to hear plenty of detail and bass from the floor speaker alone; paired with the 2 or 3, it’s the perfect setup. In what I've read and heard on YT, the original Anker 1 is better than the 2. So just get the Anker 1. So save your money it's $20, get the 1.
