How do the Life Q10s compare to the Mpow 059? They may not, but the designs seem similar. I am looking at the Q10s because I listen to a ton of metal. I already have the Mpow 059s and the work ok but seem to blow out on some metal tracks I'm looking for something that can handle the bass in metal.

@@elipassage844 I listen to metalcore and I got the new 059+ from MPOW and the Soundcore Life Q10 and I keep going back to the Soundcore ones. MPOW suck to me. They leak of outside noise badly but what gets me with Soundcore, is not just the subwoofer bass but that it cuts almost all noise without ANC. The pads completely cover my ears without even touching them, with best seal ever. That is even with a cap on. Not one other headphones do that. I have used Letscom cheapy ones that I threw away that were 100 hrs playback, Edifier w806bt, w820bt, w830bt, Bluedio T2s, MPOW 059+, and these currently using this moment Soundcore Life Q10. The only issue I dislike is no absolute volume. It has to be disabled in Developer Options to work right with volume on Soundcore. I used to have another pair of same Soundcores Red and Black but one ear went out on them, so I tossed in the trash, and already purchased the all Black currently using now. Well, one other issue is with these is bass up sounds awesome but maybe too much bass, but if I put back to normal, then there is basically no bass at all. So they are not the same as the black and red, where they are bass heavy on normal and bass up, and still tell the difference. They really cut the bass on the normal setting on all black ones but I like all black better. Go figure.

Do not listen to too much rap on the soundcore ones, but I bet they are really loud with rap. I get serious bass with just metalcore and metal music. There is a big difference on using cable vs bluetooth though, and that is not as much bass on cable, where bluetooth you can use bassup.

Mic quality is pretty good at this price range. I just bought this a couple of days ago. One issue though which is normally in all A2DP Bluetooth earphones/headphones. You can't use both stereo and mic at the same time. This can be an issue for PC gamers. Also mic doesn't work when you plug in aux (another disadvantage with bluetooth headphones). But I guess you can buy an aux cable which has a mic, and use it.

I upgraded to the Q35 but if you're looking for noise cancelling I recommend the Q20s that are about 70 dollars. The Q35s are 120 I believe.

Yo JDL, excellent review man. This indeed looks to be pure bang for the buck. I love that the bass is huge. Will enjoy with movies. But one question though, how is the build quality in terms of the material? Is it plasticky or metallic? I am asking cus I have the crusher wireless which I enjoy but it started cracking in some places that can render the headphones useless especially if they break. I was even really nice to them. So am curious about these!

Good video btw I bought them 2 years ago but I don't like the sound signature they sound narrow and too much bassy on normal mode i usually prefer a bright sound signature but these souncore are mad bassy and narrow sounding this is the reason I don't use them but on aux cable they sound amazing and bright but on bluetooth they are hell bassy and the 2nd problem is their earcups are not flexible and these headphones are super heavy almost 480 grams but the positive thing is they sound great and balanced on aux cable and the battery backup is amazing i charge them once a month

i bought this like a year and a half ago, and they're one of the best headphones that i have tried, awesome sound quality. The only thing that's annoying is that the earpads start to damage around the 12th month of usage. Thankfully, the company gives you like 15 month warranty so you can ask for another pair of earpads, they're easy to replace. I would buy this headphones again if i did't had them

I bought an anker life q10 a month aga and there are instances when the headphone is connected for calls and media audio but the sound is not coming in. Tried to tuen off and reconnect the headphone but it is still the same. Just a waste of money.

Thanks for your review & i actually made the decision to purchase the Q10 over the Q20 however upon receiving my unit, yes I can feel the rumble from the music I am playing, eg : Feel So Close by Calvin Harris. However I was little disappointed by the volume. This is my first headphones & I am currently using the regular Apple Earpods. When comparing to my Earpods, it seems that the volume I get from my earpods is much louder than the volume I get from the Q10. Is that a norm? My Earpods at 90% volume feels louder than the Q10 at 100%. Is this a norm? or did i get a faulty unit? Or maybe my expectations were too high in comparison?

Funny. A lot of folks would these have a lot of bass without the bass-up activated. With the bass-up these are insane. Those of you who can’t get enough bass should definitely cop these. Especially if you’re on a budget. With coupons I was able to get these for $28, which is an insane deal.

Came back from comparison of Soundcore Life Q30, K371BT, Sony WH-XB900N, Panasonic rb-m500b, JBL Life two versions, and god knows what I forgot. These, these are something special. After tuning, they can do very decent sound quality way. They're very okay. For bass though, maan. These are most bassy phones amongst the bass phones I heard. Forgot those lame resonators of Panasonic and Skullcandy. It's cheap gadget, doesn't help with producing bass. These do jump on your ears just from the real bass down to 23Hz and lower with less sensitivity. And then the funny bass-up feature is beyound ridiculous. You need to get this. 😂😂😂 I'm ordering secomd pair to save it for later.
