Well, I didn't like Suhad very much, so I wasn't really sad, when I saw that Ankhe kills her. Tut really loved Suhad, so it broke my heart to see him suffering like that. But on the other hand it is his fault, too. Ankhe loses many beloved persons, because of her brother, just to get replaced by another. Tut killed Ka, the father of her child before her eyes, after he didn't let them be happy together for years. (But to start a relationship with another woman is okay, he is the pharao and Ankhe just his sister, his wife and his queen. It was not their decision to marry each other, so it should be okay, when both of them have some affairs). Ankhe thought Tut would be dead, so there was no reason why she shouldn't allow Ka to finally marry her. And when she loses Kas child, Tut was annoyed because she betrayed him, but was glad that Suhad was with child, too. I understand Ankhe, that she was afraid to lose her position at the court and that she was hurt, because she had to give up so many things in the past to serve her brother. And all of this happened shortly after her beloved cousin, her dearest friend, was brutally killed by the Metani. Remember? It was Tut, who send Herit to her death. Even though he was aware of the high risk, that something like that would be the reaction of king Tushratta. So for me it is understandable, that Ankhe finally turned mad and murdered Suhad and her nephew. Hate is the most impulsive and strong emotion a human can have besides love. And compared with fear it can make a monster out of a person, who was just tortured to long and to much in the past. You could clearly see, that this was not what she really wanted after all, but she didn't saw another solution. Tut should have told her sorry for all he did to her, in that last moment of his life. Maybe many people don't like Ankhe, because she seems to be very cold and indifferent and she often behaves very arrogant. But this is her armor, her way to not breaking down from the deep sorrow she feels. She is a good queen, a strong woman, who is ready to give everything to protect her bloodline. That was what their father Ankhenaten told them, it destroyed the lives of both of the siblings. From that point of view, I can't hate Ay and Nahkt as well. Nahkt was nothing more than a sad boy, who was used and beaten to often by the one, who should love him the most. The loss of his mother and the wisdom that he is a bastard, was much harder to handle for him, than he wants to make you believe. Ay manipulated his stepson, although Nahkt always seemed to have a very strong own whill. Finally he didn't know, what he really wanted. All what he could do, was to believe that what his father always made him wish, was really his own desire. His betrayal to Suhad was the logically consequence of it. Ay wanted to support Ankhe, but failed. He is not the type of man, who would give his life for others or even take their blame on his own shoulders. The vezir didn't deserved to reach his aim at the end, of course Tut was a much better pharao, but even he made many mistakes... Mistakes that should not be unseen by judging all this people. You think, you know them, but you can never know them. The only one, who is really able to judge a person is the person itself...

I don't care what you said I was sad that Ankhe kill Suhad.in you Wrong to that's not how it is if you think that tut betray suhad you most be mistaken in why you think that he brought her in his Kingdom than dumpass first of all it was Ankhe who set Suhad up to be kill not Tut Tut didn't know about it.if that's the case then why tut ask her did she have anything to do with this in lie in said that she have nothing to do with it and did tut find out who did it he probably did maybe you need to watch the movie again to know that it happened

I do not even think Suhad existed as Ankhe really married Tut had 2 children after his death she wasn't interested in marrying Ay. So she wrote a letter to some other prince who was also killed on route to marry to her. Ay had a lot of power. No one actually knows what happened to Ankhe her life is known as a sad life. She was forced to marry her father then brother then granpa(Ay). On other hand Tut seems to be loyal as he had his daughters mummified too. I think Tut loved his wife.

Ka was a willful traitor though? He would forever be a threat. Of course, he killed him. Tut did a lot of shitty things, but that wasn't one of them.

@@tosinakin2508 he used "I loved her" as an argument which doesn't make sense since ankhe also loved ka. you say "he would be forever a threat" but suhad would be a threat as well since she might become queen. ankhe was protecting her position as well.

ʕ ́•ᴥ•`ʔ Queens of Egypt though could not get away with everything. Ankhe had an affair with Ka before Ka left Tut for dead which he neglected to tell her. Also Suhad did not leave Ankhe for dead when she had her miscarriage. In real life Ankhe would have been executed for treason, but that is just my opinion. Suhad was the bigger person because she truly cared for others while Ankhe only cared about her own desires.

No. Tut received a wound in the battle against the Mitanni which broke his leg which got infected because he didn't took the time to have it fixed. He died one day afterwards. But he took the time to kill the highpriest. In his last hours he remembered that Ankhe was still his sister and told Lagus to free her so she spent his last moments with her brother. He ask her would he would leave in this world. She told him that he was a great king who didn't waste the blood of his own for the desire of power but voice people and that this would be the idea of a great king. He ask her to stay till the end and she did. In the last scene Tut is carried to his grave in a golden sarcophagus. We learn that Ankhe married the wesir Ay, so she stayed the queen of Egypt likely until her death. This is historically achieved. We don't know much about her and we don't know how long she lived but we know that she never gave birth to an heir and that she survived her brother...

No, he should not. Ankhe did nothing wrong. Suhad was a danger for her position as queen. She would have given birth to a child, which would have been the heir to the throne, after Ankhes three miscarriages. She was hurt and had a bleeding soul. And besides... Tut killed Ka and sent Herit to her death. So in comparison to what he have done to her, he had no right to judge her actions. Cause her actions was the consequence of what she had to give up for the pharao. And Ankhe is not only his wife, she is his sister, so she is his blood. She was always there for him, not Suhad. She deserved to be happy. Tut killed her lover, so she killed his lover... this is justice!

@@saraoverkamping8143 bull shit ka was a traitor tut had every right to kill him he literally looked at tut and walked off as if he didn't see him then went on to try to marry his sister (his wife) and then take his thronne now Ka was a true threat if tut wouldn't have let him live he would always have to look over his shoulder to make sure ka and ank are not conspiring against him and yes sudah was a threat but he loved her ank suffered but so did tut they had every right to find love from other people as long as it doesn't involve either of them getting stabed in the back by the other and that's exactly what ank did what did you expect?if she couldn't give him an heir then someone else obviously could and would he truly loved suhad ank did what she did out of pure jealously so yes ank 100% desvered the death penalty

I find it funny, that everyone thinks, Ankhe did that out of pointless reasons, but she did not. Maybe Suhad was what Tut wanted, but Ankhe was what he needed. She was stronger than any other person in that palace. And remember... she is not only his wife, she is his SISTER. She was forced to marry him. And a relationship with a lover is no comparison to the love between siblings. You can divorce from a lover, but not from a sister or a brother. They are your closest companions through your whole life. He wanted her to stay at his side, when he died. BECAUSE HE KNOW, THAT ANKHE WAS THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE. They went together through the whole shit, from the beginning to the end. And in real life it is historically clarified, that they really loved each other. Ankhe did everything possible to support Tut aims. But when Suhad got pregnant, it was obvious that she wanted to replace Ankhe, although the position of queen was hers by the law. It was not her fault, that all of her children were born dead. But Tut behaved like it was hers. He blamed her for her romantic love to another man, but loved another as well. Maybe I first have to remind you of the facts, but Ankhe didn't know about Kas treason. She wasn't on the battlefield. She loved Ka since her early childhood, but she didn't even allow herself to have an affair with him because of her brother. There was no reason for her, not to marry Ka after Tuts "death". She waited a few days since she decided herself for Ka, she cried when she heard about Tuts death and still had some feelings of guilty, when she know about her pregnancy. And in that video you can see the scene, where she is taking to prison. She wanted Lagus to watch over her brother. She didn't prayed for herself, but for the pharao. And the way she speaked with Tut made clear, how desperate, how hurt, how hopeless, how depressiv she was. You can tell me what you want. For me, Ankhe is no evil person. She is just a woman, which was confronted with the evil to often...

@@saraoverkamping8143 I said what I said period and yes in real life they were the love of each other's lives but when it comes to fiction no they didn't they loved one another as brother and sister, unfortunately were forced to wed one another but all they cared about was power and yes suhad was a threat but ank killed her out of jealousy I don't care sibling or not

Than care about what Ankhe went through! That Tut was the first one to hurt his sister, after that she hurt him. You have to imagine in which world they lived. She tried to beware Tut from suffering as often as possible, but if you are nice to your enemies, they will destroy you. You've seen it after Herits death. (What besides was the responsibility of Tut who could easily imagine how king Tushratta would react with this great brain of his, so in fact he sacrificed his own cousin to make a better impression for his own population. And it was Suhad, who advised him to do so. So you can say, that Ankhe revenged Herit next to her jealousy). Suhad would have become queen, Ankhe would have been restored, after everything she went through because of her royal position. And her power was the only thing what was left to her. She growed up in a viper crowd. You can compare it with ancient version of Game of Thrones. When you play the Game of Thrones, you can win it or die...
