Many West Indians were the core laborers of the Panama Canal during the construction days and they left their culture solidly in the Isthmus, where it grounded with the local and impacted immensely. Miss Lou has always been an impact with her Auntie Roachie stories that reached Panama around the 70s and we relive every bit of it on this marvelous piece you have posted.
