Thank you so much this is amazing. As you said it's great to be able to study the cards in order they were created, but what I also find very useful is that I have like 10 000 questions and I'm in medicine, and sometimes I just want to study one word (an amino acid for exemple) that's in different packages, and I can just do that with this add-on very easily by just searching for the word and doing the questions. Can you study-review custom previewed cards that are suspended? Does it automatically unsuspend a card if you submit one of the four options normally? Also, Are you able to preview multiple cards as seen and also begin studying them together or can you only preview 1 & begin studying that one? Awesome video, amazing add on. Thanks again.

Hey man, can't believe I'm just discovering these now. Have you looked at possibly creating an incremental video add on yet? I see two big barriers here: 1. Anki desktop doesn't embed KZbin videos correctly. So that seems out as an option. 2. Having a smooth workflow like SuperMemo used to have, where users can set time codes, preview their extract, then create the extract(s). I'd be interested in commissioning you on this as I simply don't have time to do this myself with my studies and work. SuperMemo's incremental video is broken beyond redemption, and even if it comes back, it will just break again.

Hey Kendawg, that sounds like an interesting feature. I've never actually used incremental reading beyond giving the corresponding Anki add-on a quick try, but I know that it's probably one of the most coveted features of SuperMemo. I've got a few other projects I'll have to complete first, but feel free to send me an email at ankiglutanimate[αt]gmail.com, so we can discuss the implementation details and see if this is something that's feasible as an add-on.

I think there's no way to remove the favorites directly, but what you can do is click on each entry and then on the heart symbol in the search bar. That should remove the search from your favorites. As soon as you've removed all searches from your favorites the "My searches" entry should no longer appear in the side bar. Hope that helps!

Those are part of the Advanced Browser add-on (ankiweb.net/shared/info/874215009), another awesome piece of software which I'd love to cover in one of my future Anki add-on guides.

Hello and thx a lot for the video. So i'd like to study my anki cards in the cloze order, for example : if i have 2 cards : A and B with 3 clozes, i'd like to study them in A1,A2,A3 order not in A1,B1,A2,B2 order. The addon kinda helps me do that, except when i answer the question, it doesn't reposition the card based on the answer, like it does with the regular study. Is there anyway i can do that? Thx a lot again

Hi! I was curios about the possibility to make a add-on like heat map but related to geolocalitazion. I mean, heat map indicates you what data you've revised on a certain day. I use to reviese learned material in different study places (coffee shop, library, room...) to increase retention and make more fun. I come up with different creative ideas related to the different places. So I am curios to know if it is possible that anki follows you're location automatically to filter cards according in which phsyical location studied?

I greatly appreciate your work. I have used ANKI and these add ons as my main form of study for PA school. With the advanced previewer and other add ons it makes learning medicine so much more interactive. I can search and pull up a scroll page of every card I ever made for certain drugs and then use that to cross reference other topics. I am actually shocked that I am the only one in my class using ANKI. I can’t even imagine getting through school without it. I owe you man. Keep it up cause when I am finished with school and start working I will be making a decent donation to you. Just can’t right now as a poor student!

Hey Tom, there is a great video tutorial that will help you set the note type up: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6W8gJWHaNSWqNk. You should give it a try. It's not that difficult once you get the hang of it!

I'm sorry Tom, but I simply don't have the time to take up any additional projects right now. My only advice would be to submit a support request at anki.tenderapp.com/discussions/ankidesktop. The staff there are very responsive and should be able to guide you through whatever difficulties you're facing.

I hope you have something planned for overlapping cloze to work more like image occlusion enhanced 2. Multiple cards from same text.

Cloze Overlapper already generates multiple cards per note, but I think you mean the ability to use the same source text multiple times, right? (Just like being able to hit one of the "add" buttons in IO repeatedly to generate additional notes?) In that case: I think you should give the Frozen Fields add-on a try (ankiweb.net/shared/info/516643804). It will allow you "freeze" the original text field, so that you can use the same text again and again without having to paste it in repeatedly.
