TO SHARE CARDS WITH FRIENDS:
- Click the icon next to the deck you want to share
- Click "export"
- Export Format = "Anki Deck Package (*.apkg)"
- Include = the decks you want to share
- UNCHECK "include scheduling information"
- Leave "include media" checked
- Click "export..."
You will get a file on your desktop that you can send to others.
TO STUDY CARDS THAT SOMEONE SENT YOU:
- Click "File"
- Click "Import"
- Select the deck that you want to upload

After lots of prep talk from my son, he convinced me that I can take up anything with the help of resources available and I came to this. I still need his help to do the right way of download. I am attempting to take my license with real estate at 71. I feel quite confident with this app and look forward to achieving my goal. Can you make a tutorial on how to create a deck from a tag? I have one huge deck that I want to divide up into sub decks but as of right now the only way the cards are divided is with different tags.

Hello. I would like to learn new English vocabulary. Conventional methods have proven to be not efficient for me. So a friend recommended Anki to me. Since you are utilizing Anki and are already advanced with the material, I wanted to ask for tips. So which Add Ons should be installed, how much you should review daily etc. Thanks for an answer, it will simplify my initial time with Anki

How do I know when I will be done studying a deck of cards? does it tell me that anywhere?

it will automatically send you back to the "lobby" and tell you that you finished your study session (for the said deck)

I've made 43 cards, i want to be tested on them and it's not letting me get tested on all 43 only let's me do 15 and it's set a time limit of 1 minute. Jesus christ why did I spend time on this. I'm not even going to be using this everyday since I'm only studying this topic weekly

I think it's pronounced "Ah n-key". It comes from the Japanese word 暗記 (anki), which means memorization. In Japanese, A is always pronounced as "Ah".

Anki says ;Your decks here and on ankiweb differ in such a way that they cant be merged together so its necessary to overwrite the decks on one side with the decks from the other. I DIDNT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING PLEASE HELP ME

"I added some other flashcards earlier so right now it shows me I have four new cards that I can study" - Unfortunately, this is a simple lie. For some reason, ANKI always creates a new card in duplicate in the BASIC card type as well, and no one tells why it is.
