I've been in treatment for depression for a few months now, while I have had mixed experience with therapy, I can definitely say, that antidepressants have improved my quality of live. If you're so miserable, that nothing motivates you anymore, it won't go away on it's own. I took me long time to seek help, but I'm glad I did. So go to the doctor, if you don't like it, you can still stop all treatment. PS: One of the most helpful tips I've gotten is: Never compare yourself to the pre-depression you. Treat yourself as if you started from zero. Anything you do and complete is a success, not matter if it's actually good or not. You did something. You got out of the rut. That's good enough.

If things go out of hand, then maybe i will think about medical help. But I want to heal naturally.
@jameskidd3502Күн бұрын
@ASMRByAnkita it can be very difficult depending on your circumstances. Your environment, and financial situation, etc.. The world is a tough place even for people I know who have overcome huge hurdles but still end up on medication just due to some bad luck. No shame in getting help through medication. You are strong I'm sure. That's why you don't want to take meds. I hope things change for the better soon. I really do. I've been there.

For me, I gave up sugar during the week and ate whatever I want on the weekends, its working really well for me! I also think about my blood sugar, and what will cause it to spike. ❤❤

Your honesty and openness is so refreshing and reflects your lovely personality. You are a natural artist and even if you don’t feel motivated you should pick up a pencil and start drawing . Sometimes once you start drawing , the motivation will follow. And do not denigrate your own artistic talents - your art reminds me of the French post-impressionist Henri Rousseau.

Maybe once I get started, i will get in the flow of painting. Ya i can see the slight resemblance to Rousseau art.

I love videos where you just chit chat. Currently I’m going through the same feeling of not being motivated and feeling bad about myself and didn’t nothing about it so personally this helped me a lot thank you. I’m wondering if you can make another video talking more about what to do in these situations and how to stop being in this low mind set.

Thanks. I will be making some videos on how I'm trying to cope and improve myself.

I can relate to your depression, I was drowning in it for as long as I can remember. I was always hesitant about medication for several reasons but now that I’m on it, it’s made a world of a difference. ❣️ Wish the best for you.

You are good person. That’s alone is reason to love you. Your viewers are real people who care for you and want to see you do well. Wellness is about finding our OWN way. Every day you wake up and face the world with good intentions is a blessing. You are special. Your words are a gift. Know that your unique way of seeing the world is special and move forward in that love and grace. ❤

I love your chatty videos, you have an amazing ability to connect through the camera - it's like a video call - I am smiling and nodding as you talk 🙂 I'm glad you uploaded a more positive video, the last one left me a little worried. But you have a tremendous self-awareness, and an ability to laugh and smile, which is a great asset, and reassuring 🙂 I would love to know more about life in modern India, could you make a video about it from you PoV - maybe get outside and film stuff and talk all about it (if you are comfortable doing that) Good luck in the new year! 🙂

I love your chit chat video, I'm so glad you posted again because I was very worried about you, my husband thinks you might have a vitamin deficiency causing depression, I'm from Australia and when you talk to the camera I feel like you are talking to me which is a skill you have which we as your viewers get to enjoy. I'm really excited to watch more of your videos in the future. I love ghost stories, role plays and crinkling sounds of plastic. Oh and I like asmr shopping videos. Anyway you are an absolute delight. Thankyou for being you❤

Dearest Ankita, Depression is an illness like any other. If you had diabetes or cancer, you wouldn't just try to overcome it without medical assistance! There is NO SHAME in getting professional help for this! To think otherwise is old fashioned and backwards. If you had a bad experience before, go elsewhere. It's very common to need to try several different providers before you find a good fit. We love you. You deserve to feel good!

The best advice I can give you is beware of people who give you something to DO to feel better ie eat this, watch this, exercise, paint, etc . These are great but they are meant to be done in alignment and not to give you long term happiness because they can’t. The transformation lies in the truth that you are actually not seeking to stop feeling, you are seeking to stop suffering, and the path to this is to stop 🛑 feel and listen without identifying. Watch as if you were inside someone else’s body and be curious , with unconditional love and acceptance for what is happening in your body and it will always tell you what it needs . It will show you where your mind is distorting the world and causing you to suffer. This is the breakthrough ❤Namaste

Try focusing on good food and food creativity. There are other ways besides eating ju k food to use food to overcome some of aspects of life and ones personal challenges. I'm thinking of different stories that focus on this : such as "Like water for chocolate" and "Babette ' Feast" . Try watching those two movies.Good movies, not new but it givesthe idea what im referring to about food as the focus, but maybe making a project of trying a new type of diet like organic or keto or whatever may interest you . Perhaps cooking something new or some other ethnic food.

I'm not telling you or anyone else how to feel about their body, but I wish I could have accepted my body when I was 72 kilo or 82 kilo or even 100 kilo. When I hit 140 kilo 15 years ago I finally realised that I had to give up my focus on weight and instead simply try to LIVE. I'm at 120 kilo today and it has taken me years to learn how to love my body. Now I focus on how good it feels to have a functioning body and to eat a balanced diet (which for me includes cake and tasty coffees 😊). Life is a journey. We're not supposed to be at our end destination, our goal, before 25 or 40 or 55 years old. 💛

I was initially ok with being fat, but then i started getting health issues. My stamina was lower than my parents, who are almost double my age. I don't want to just be thin. I want to be healthy even at old age. And most of the healthy old people have an active lifestyle and eat healthy.

Even only 5 minutes a day where your heart is beating faster than usual by moderate physical activity is lowering blood pressure. I don’t move enough so I think 5 min/day is doable (running. I think it’s hard to like climb stairs for 5 min..). Maybe this can morivate you 💐🙏
