Thanks for watching! If you are going to therapy they will give you some, if not you can find it on Amazon. We always use Theraband brand in the clinic

how long should i spend icing and resting before i start trying to move and put weight on the ankle?

It depends on how severe the injury is and how it feels. What did you do?

@@geekedrehab i was jumping out of the back of a cargo truck and landed on a stick in the road which caused my right ankle to rollover on its right side. instantly felt severe pain and a sick feeling in my stomach causing me to scream and cry for a few minutes lol. this happened on wednesday i went to the hospital and they xrayed it saying that nothing is broken and to rest for a week. they instructed that if the pain continues to see an ortho specialist in a week. the day after the incident bruising started to show around the right bottom side of my heel below the ankle. i’m sore all the way up to my calf and it’s hard for me to move my big toe up without pain. i can move all my toes down though without pain but it is still hard to do so. I haven’t been able to put much weight on it. I can hold my balance with my toes but i can’t take a step as of yet.

@@TifDaJeweler I would definitely be cautious if it is still hurting that bad a week after! I would keep icing and resting for now. It wouldn't hurt to follow up just in case they missed something on the first appointment, which is common.
