Did you fill it to the max line? That sounds super loud compared to mine. Mine just sounds like a low humming and very gentle water flowing.

Water fountain encourages cats to drink more water, male cats especially as they are prone to urinary problems. If fountain noisy check water level.

Mine isn't. Only a low humming sound and very soft water sound. I have mine filled to the max water level, and l barely hear it in my kitchen.
