Contestants are always better than judges in singing. Judges are there because they have better knowledge and vast experience in music, recordings and arrangements. Contestants are just singers. Judges are musicians. And according to me, musicians are those who knows music in and out. Just an ability to sing doesn't make one musician. You need a proper knowledge about chords, scales, notations, instruments. The talent to create music makes you musician and this is just the basic idea about it. And Neha Kakkar is really not one of them. She is sitting on that seat just because her journey has started from Indian Idol and she is commercially successful at present, and channel got something to present for audience showcasing the ex Idol contestant's journey to stardom. And the ability to drop tears at any point of time makes the second reason she's got.
