Hello AS warriors, I am Soumyajit Chowdhury. Currently I am at my B. Tech final year 1 year back 28th may I had severe pain in my left leg, I couldn't get out of bed at that time. As the course of time the pain was as it is and my orthopedic doctor asks for a hlab27 test and fortunately it was positive . After someone days i knew that is was not going to cure,,,, I was in depression. But my Rumatologist suggest me to do yoga or any workout for 2hr a day.... I started doing so and and completely change my diet. After few months it started showing results. I am now 68 kg from 85kg . And there is no pain from past 6 months. I can do many intense workout and advance yoga poses. The pain will come and go but you have to stay calm that it will surely go. Don't give up my dear... If I can do it... You can also do it.

Difficult to answer your question as to whether this is AS or not without seeing you. However at times AS can cause hip pain without causing much backache or back stiffness

Hi sir due to AS my spine has deviated slightly forward. Can it be fixed to normal state with psyotherapy. And I recently got another disease called takayasu .Dr said he never saw this kind of two deseases in one patient?

Yes. Takayasu arteritis with AS is a rare combination. As far as spine deformity is concerned; it is really difficult to tell you without examining you.

Sir, what should we do during flare up days? What we must remember? Exercise or rest? Currently there is no stiffness, no inflammation or pain. But need to work - Exercise..... Sometimes flares for about 2 days .... Only taking NSAIDs , need to rehab to be able to put whole bodyweight on hip joint Bcoz I need little bit support to walk
