Hi Brenda. Hooray!! A box opening!! Aww, she is lovely. Congratulations, on your new baby!! Very unusual name. So I googled it online, and I cam across one program that pronounces it as Shiatsu. I am guessing that the Qi is pronounced as Shi. I have seen Wendy's baby, and she is beautiful, as well. Many blessings!!

The Reborns are painted by artists which from artist to artist will have differences. But you can request to an artist to get a kit and get the same colour eyes and hair. You search up "custom reborn artists" and this kit here is called the "Anming by Ping Lau"..... You can show the picture to the artist and ask, "Will you be able to make a doll similar to this one?" and then go from there. She or He will tell you if they can or can't and also how much it would cost you. You'll never get a doll exactly the same, though .... but you can get one to resemble her. 🎀🌷🌿💫😊💕

But I want one exactly the same. Doesn't Ping Lau do her own dolls? I know I sound stupid but I don't have to make the dolls myself right? What good is it if you can't get the same look and you are not happy with what you get? It seems like you take a chance and I am sure they aren't cheap.

That's very true ... Many people can get scammed or extremely disappointed with what the Reborn artist creates. I'm not sure if Ping Lau paints her own kits but if she does, I'm sure they would be very expensive. Do you know the price ranges of reborn dolls? .... They can vary from $60 USD (very rare and they wouldn't be done very well) to in the thousands. The average price for a very good quality reborn can be from $450 USD to $800 USD.... all depending on how well the artist is experienced or how well she/he is known. Used dolls can be cheaper but sometimes with limited editions, they can become "rare" and turn into collectibles. (which are more expensive.).... By the way, you don't sound "stupid" at all .... You're just new at this... (I once was! lol) .... I did a lot of research and watched many videos on advice. Also, Facebook has many groups where people talk and discuss their experiences....... 🎀🌷🌿💫😊💕 The only "same" dolls would be the mass-produced kind like ashton drakes or paradise gallery dolls. ... Reborn dolls are made to be one-of-a-kind.
