You could have used flash drives which are use for cache memory. It will improve the IO performance.. bhai its not actually NAS. Its SAN set up. Raid 5 is single drive fault tolerance. Where as Raid 6 had two drive fault tolerance. But Raid 5 gives more performance.. don’t go by drive size For example 1 tb ssd will not used exactly 1 tb since you’re using raid configuration.. If Your planning expand the more enclosure you could have tried Dell emc or red hat or netapp storage. Price would be more but it would be faster than this product.. Incase in future if you want to transfer the all the data to other products from this current storage to other product you might to pay lots of money for migration of the all of your data All the best bro 🎉
