Anna and Elsa from FROZEN were at Disney's Hollywood Studios today for surprise meet & greet appearances! They will soon be at Epcot's Norway Pavilion in World Showcase for at least a few months in support of the film.

Everyone saying how bad Elsa is, if you realize the movie she comes off as that as well. Anna is supposed to be over talkative and bubbly, while Elsa observes and keeps to herself. They aren't going to change the live characters for the sake of little kid interactions, they are staying true to the characters in the movie, which I respect.

She was more relaxed around people at the end of the movie, especially Anna. Making ice sculptures and skating rink for the townspeople. I think people sometimes exaggerate her quietness and distance, when most of that was because she was trying to hide her powers, not hurt anybody by becoming emotional, and being especially careful around her sister. I guess she should have been a little more open and friendly since she "let it go".

In my opinion, they were both great. I don't know how many of you have seen the movie, but Elsa was always quiet and polite, while Anna was too excited, and talked too much, sometimes. Not every Disney character has to be overwhelming and over acted. I think they were both perfect.

Finally! I was reading the opinions and I totally agree with you!! The idea in this movie is to show two princesses at the same time that are not just the same! Of course, most of the people are more fond with characters like Anna, who is more extraverted, but I really love both of them with their own personalities :) The only (and freaky) thing I can "criticize" is that maybe they could made something for making seen Elsa taller than Anna (play with the heels shoes) hehe :) but that's just a detail that probably nobody cares xD.

The costumes that disney provide are amazing, but in my opinion they could've done better with Elsa... I know they're cartoons, but Anna and all the other princesses' dresses and wigs are pretty spot on... For me Elsa's a disappointment, I have seen cosplayers do better :/

People need to understand that their looks need to always be consistent. Therefore, their hair needs to be made to fit multiple shapes and sizes of people. Secondly, their costumes need to be made for durability. These costumes are worn every single day of the year. I'm sure Disney could come up with some beautiful dresses but since these characters are meet and greet princesses there is always a safety issue involved. Imagine them walking around Disneyland and Queen Elsa has a long thin beautiful sparkling cape and someone steps on it. Disney has to do what is safe for their guests and cast members. Cosplays will always have more detail in them. Granted people who cosplay don't cosplay in the same costume for 8 hours a day. Tell me how long your cosplay will last if you meet thousands of people a day. And if you've seen other cosplays that are super beautiful try having five different people where your costume and see if you all five look the same in facial features and body type.

I personally think they're both fantastic! They both suit the characters a lot, appearance and acting wise! The actresses are absolutely perfect for their roles to me. Anna being the bubbly social butterfly and Elsa, who has been guarded her whole life and doesn't seem to really like talking to people. I feel bad though, it's really difficult to stay in costume, heavy makeup, and wigs all day in the sun like that, Elsa's costume has the sheer parts and the slit, Anna isn't so lucky.

Anna's costume is on POINT! The hair, the clothes, whoever created her outfit had added the extra details that Anna has on her costume and hair! Also, I'd just like to say, (although I try not to nitpick), Anna is perfect but I feel as though maybe Disney Studios could have done a little better with Elsa's hair...I mean of course it's difficult if the actress hasn't got the right natural hair so they have to use a wig, but I've seen cosplays with a stronger look to them. Then again it's early days and this makeup and costume may just be like a prototype :) other than that both look amazing! :)

Slaxy Starlight Woo! I love that, haha! I think it must be the skin tone that is too stand-out with this actress, though not that that should be the defining point about the cons of using her to portray Elsa. Please, I really don't want anyone to think I am saying she is the worst person to play the character, (though I know it may seem like it), I just know it has been done a lot better than this from less than professional people. Then again, it may not be the skin tone at all - but the start of the hair line to her face/head is really bold and you can tell it doesn't look natural, (or not as perfect as Anna's makeup and hair), Slaxy Starlight I'd love love-LOVE to see your take on Elsa :D

We just got back from Disney and had the chance to meet both Elsa and Anna...let me tell you, they were amazing!! Although Elsa may seem distant on this video clip, she could not have been more genuine. Definitely a highlight of the trip for my 6 year old!!

Aww the actresses are adorable! :D I hope they're there when I go in May! Frozen has overtaken Tangled as one of my favourite modern Disney flicks - although nothing could ever replace Pocahontas, (for myself), as the best princess :) I think maybe the actress portraying Elsa is thinking about how Elsa is at the start of the film, rather than at the end when she is in her "free" form :) Awesome work from the two of them :)
