I had a letter from Diamond Press. This is what they told me along with answering my feedback. “We will have a new DP machine with a 4.5 inch wide opening coming out for the April show!!” How exciting. I don’t need a new one but I am excited for them. I know we should get some new dies then, too. I did well at their sale! Great prices!

Adore your castle... great tutorial, last time I embossed on my Gemini with Anna griffin, the die it cut into my embossing mat... weird how yours didn’t do that, you must have magic touch..

Maybe! LOL! Just make sure to not use the magnetic mat at the same time go the embossing mat. That sandwich would be too thick and may cut the embossing mat. TY!!

Omg...so adorable. I love this die set. I have not purchased any of her easel dies yet. I really want the haunted house first though. There are a lot of dies, but you really need them for the dimension, otherwise it wouldn't look nearly as cute. She did good on this one!!! Thank you for the tutorial!!

LOL when I want great embossing details with the Gemini, I use the Anna Griffin embossing mat and the 2 Gemini clear plates. I made sure her mat was the same thickness as the milky shim + the CC emboss mat. That's what works for me anyway

I enjoyed seeing this come together. Tfs❣ fyi...you can get a good dimensional effect also from the white bottle of Aleenes Fast Grab Tacky Glue. Just like with your glue you just dont press it all the way down. Just lay it on the paper. Crafters use to use this glue for dimensional flowers. It works really well but when the bottle starts emptying down it can get cumbersome to squeeze....a plus for using your glue . But Aleenes Fast Grab is available in any craft store, I think even Walmart💌

How did you fill the precision bottle with tacky glue?Thank you so much for you quick and simple ideas!!!

I get the bottles from the CC site, and all you do is take the top off...open the glue bottle's tip just like if you were going to use it and squeeze it into the little bottle. Put the top back on the little bottle and you're good to go!

Girl, I wait4ed till midnight and the shipping was still $67!!!!! They ditched the $5 cart. People have been telling me when they called about it they were told for some reason the $5 cart was cancelled in the afternoon running up to craft day and the customer service people didn't know why. That is INSANE! When have you ever paid that much for shipping? As a company, they should know better. I dumped my cart and only ordered the Joy (even though I don't want it) so I can review it. Oh, well!

I always love watching you show how these things go together. I have this die. I have looked at it several times. Now I have to get it out and actually make it. LOL I like that you don't cut on the magnetic mat. Mine is in horrendous shape because I've used it to hold the dies...but then it get so out of shape, it doesn't hold anything. *rolls eyes*. When I get a new one, I'm going to try your sandwich. Things might last a little longer that way. I actually have a mental dislike for that embossing mat! I don't like a cutting die going into it. I've cut mine and it made me stop embossing, but like with this card, the detail is the main attraction.

LOL!! I meant to mention that I totally panicked bc I lost one of the little turret dies!!! Right after I embossed the first one. I tried not to freak out bc it had to be in my craft room...looked all over the table, under the table, further out, in boxes that were under the table...and the darn thing was taped to my sweater!!!
