I saw Anna do that thing where the die is cut 1st, put the cardstock back in where it was cut from, put it all in a stamp positioner and then align the stamp to the cut. I suspect that's bcuz the acrylic doesn't have much structure for those frames. I've been thinking about getting these stamps. That champagne matte mirror card is amazing 🥰 I must have it too. I bought more Faded Rose. It was a great idea to purchase another CAH4!

I need some hybrid inks and embossing powders. I could use a spreadsheet with the inks and the techniques they should be used for. Could also use a spreadsheet on the mat layer measurements for different card sizes.

Great job showing the year on this set. When I saw her preview it, I too thought it was an older set brought back from the 'vault'! Maybe it's the typography. Anna mentioned in one of her preview videos there is no HSN Craft Day in June b/c they're getting ready for the big Christmas extravagasna in July so now is the time to get your goodies, everyone!

Thank you! Funny enough, it is called fantastic, and someone had said that these kinds of things were included with the fantastic flips from like seven or eight years ago. I have those, I don’t remember it having stamps. I even tried to look back at the videos and see that I didn’t have stamps with mine. I don’t know, either way… These are much better material than she had back in the day. I am happy to have them! Lol!

Anna did say these stamps were not new, just the die frames. The sentiment stamps were first sold new in 2016 after people asked AG to make stamps because the sentiment stickers were being used up in the Fantastic Flip kits, an auto-ship series that had begun in 2015 that had dies that cut A2 cards. The kits had printed stickers exactly like this stamp set, and the dies in the kits could cut out these stamps although not readily. The kit was hybrid-a full paper kit that did not need dies plus in addition A2 dies and paper for the Cricut. These stamps then appear again in 2020 when Anna reintroduced them along side Fantastic Flips 2 dies, a new 5x7 card making die set which was taller and needed the Empress large plates. Now the exact same stamps are reappearing again just like the 2016 version, but with the addition of the little frame dies. Not a new stamp set which is why folks are asking can you just sell the new dies alone. Note the stamps are phrases that can appear together in the card as it flips. They complete the phrase together.

The sentiments & POSSIBLY some of the dies are from the AG FANTASTIC FLIPS 1 & 2. Some of the dies may also be from of some of the OLDER AG CONCENTRIC & FRAME DIES ( or, they can be USED with some of the sentiment stamps).

I reviewed my old fantastic flip videos and don't see that I had stamps. I wonder if I just didn't use them? Either way, these seem updated and better acrylic quality. I will keep them even if they are in my stash somewhere. TY for the info!

Thank you for the video. Helped me make up my mind on ordering. Which flower box did you use for the small flowers? I've been looking for small flowers for the flower cart and flower shop and other dies that have the small pot dies.

Glad it was helpful! So...those are the flowers from China Cabinet. HSN doesn't have them on their own, but they are in the paper collection bundle. I didn't link them for that reason.

Vianney, the green mat you heated to take out warp, if you put in in a tray and pour boiling water over it, let it set and scrub with a brush, it will come out clean. Just another tip I am sure you have heard before.

So I love the stamp set - I bought it too. Was so excited to receive it - but... but but but.. Why did she have to have such a large shadow layer? When she makes her professional sentiment sets to sell... the shadow layer is so slim. And I guess it's to keep us coming back and buying her professional sentiment sets too - inspite of having the stamps and dies.. but I wish she would not worry about that... I wish she would just make the stamps and dies like she makes her professional ones. Come on!- you know we're still going to buy the premade ones for when we're in a hurry, or to use in a pinch...

TBH, I haven't seen that. I think people say they use like boiling water then place them under something heavy. I feel like they are good for so many cuts and refills always accompany new sets, I haven't needed to try and straighten them out. I'm sorry I don't have that info.

Well, another set of wonky acrylic Anna Griffin stamps. At this price point, I expect photopolymer at the very least. How can it be that such beautiful detailed design is not photopolymer, even better rubber? The USA has the manufacturing to do this. The price points are good for better stamps. I do not know any crafting company doing acrylic at all any more. At any rate, the frame dies probably need to be first layered down as a way to corral the stamp. Then lift the dies off and ink the stamp. Then realign dies and cut. If that doesn’t work, it’s never going to work. And I know if you, Vianney, have a glitch, we are all going to have a glitch. 😉

For sure. I do feel if you're using acrylic the price point should be lower...but it is what it is. I don't think Anna has ever done photopolymer. We can definitely put the die down, get the stamp nestled and go from there. I feel that could be fiddly, but definitely worth the time. TYSM, Anne!

The Sentiment Stamps and dies came out (7?) years ago as Fantastic Flips card set with dies and autoships for the different shapes for sentiment cardstock shapes and sold the clear sentiment stamps separately. I almost bought them but realized I had bought them separately, not bundled. She has two other bundled sets I already had that she had sold the separately- the house dies and stamps (but she bundled in a box of sticker embellishments) and she also bundled the sets of corner pocket and inside pocket dies!

I think for newcomers those bundles are amazing, but like you....I don't need them! LOL! I am happy to have these stamps even having the fantastic flip card kit bundles bc the acrylic already seems to be of better quality. We will see, time will tell! (: TYSM!
