So so cute. I can see these for Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day goodie bags. You can smooth any ruff cut by running your silicone/teflon scoring tool over the ruff edge. It will smooth it out and you won’t be-able to see it. It really works. For a handle why not just cut a 1/2 inch strip of card stock. You can decorate the ends of the handle once glued down with a cute spider or pumpkin. Pretty easy. Thanks Vianney for figuring out an easier way for putting this together…just makes sense doing it your way. (You should be on Anna’s design team. 🙋🏻‍♀️❤️🤗)

TY, I know that trick...but the second spider won't have the embossed look. I talked about that. You can definitely make your own handle, of course...or use ribbon, etc...

Thank you for showing the correct way to do this. Kinda ticks me off that Anna charges so much and never misses an opportunity to brag about being an architect, yet every project lately something is off. Either with the directions or the dies. Crazy! Still adorable though!

@@susantunney6680 Lol, I am positive she has mentioned more than once something about architecture. Perhaps it was she was architect of paper, but it was mentioned in that context. I remember because I almost choked on my coffee, 😂. Her "design" plans need some assistance. Love her stuff, but if not for Vianney's interpretation of her instructions, I would be lost. Perhaps I am not a good enough crafter yet!

I love how you explained this project, you made me laugh out loud. I was thinking exactly how you were at the start. The box I made just like you said how you would, As for the strap/handle, I cut 2 and glue together, easy, faster and done. You did a great job, the boxes are adorable

Since AG instructions are always lacking, I get the feeling it's on purpose. Almost like they want to coax people to join an annual paid subscription to watch videos and maybe get a discount to purchase more items. ok where's the emoji for sarcasm? 🤭 I'm really hoping to make some time for treat bags this year 🤞 I agree about the instructions. As you were following them, I was thinking "what ?" 🙅‍♂️ That's why it's great that you always show their instructions and demonstrate an easier way. Thank you for sharing how to make the bag better. As for the handle, a grinding bit on any kind of a handheld drill will easily smooth that cutting edge on the end. As easy as the end is to reach, a rasp tool would easily do the job. I'm always having to do this to neaten up cutting dies that I buy.

I so wanted to get this set but was good :) It's adorable. Maybe next year if it's available. We all have so many bag dies but this one is on wish list for next year. I'm happy you got it for your collection! It would make amazing treat bags for your daughter 's school friends. It's sooooooo sophisticated...yet youthful. Just perfect :)

I am glad I watched this video before I ordered this. I don't really do Halloween but liked it for the box shape and was on the fence as to if I wanted to spend the money just for the bag. Well the other piece I would use is the side decoration and it doesn't fit correctly. Who wants to cover up the decorative piece? I will pass.

I thought you had to cut two short handles, thread the decorative piece over and then attach together.

The instructions I showed had very specific things to do...mostly wrong! LOL! Please always do what makes you most comfortable. You can definitely cut two pieces, thread them through from outside in so the spiders aren't a factor, then glue at the top. A lot of time, AG's instructions aren't very good, I just use my intuition and experience to make better sense of them. (:

I did not get this but that is ridiculous that the actual instructions are so lacking. AG boxes sure do not measure up to the fantastic Tonic Studio boxes. For a seasoned crafter we can figure it out, but for a beginner, how frustrating would that be, and not right. We expect the directions to be the accurate way to do things. Very disappointing.
