Anna's scene in that graduation speech in Eclipse will always give me goosebumps. I love that, editing and all.
@welfareprincess Жыл бұрын
What I love about her in Eclipse doing that speech is that it adds a lot of depth to her character. For most of the saga she's seen as pretty vapid and emotionally inept, but that speech really adds a nice element to her character!
@milicaspasojevic4387 Жыл бұрын
I partly agree. It was her moment to “shine” in a way. Though i do think that her character was actually a rl cool “normal” girl. Like she had normal teenage troubles and lead a normal teenage life. It’s just that those things were outshined by al the supernatural stuff and life and death situations. This speech kinda brought back the feeling that they were all just kids figuring out life. Sorry for rumbling, just felt to write this ❤
@brandifaith3410 Жыл бұрын
I agree, I like the depth & seriousness it added to her character. But what I love most about this scene is the contrast between what she is saying and what Bella is about to do. She’s saying that now is the time for them to go figure out who they really are, to fall deeply in love and then realize you’re not really that in love enough to marry that person and then end the relationship and fall deeply in love with someone else and do that over and over, to make a bunch of mistakes and it’s fine because now is the time to figure out their lives and who they are and what they want to be, and they are contrasting all of that with Bella who is making the very serious and permanent decisions to get married and end her mortal life. The speech kind of makes you realize the ridiculousness of what Bella is doing and the life she’s living. Not enough to fully pull you out of the movie or make you hate her choices necessarily, but enough that it shows the seriousness of what she’s doing and how she’s somewhat ending her life as she knows it & how she will be leaving all of her friends and family behind.

I’m obsessed. Anna Kendrick could literally say one line and I would watch the whole movie for that one line. Hence how I have watched the entire Twilight franchise.

OK, that jump cut at 6:11 is incredible. The editor gets major props on that one.

i actually saw Camp and realized that Anna can truly belt it out like a woman twice her size! She may have been just a teen at the time but her talent was definitely there.

Anna Kendrick sure is a brilliant actress. The number of films/series she's associated with proves that she is fairly versatile.
