She alway struck me as the type that would be a bridesmaid in everyone's wedding, so this surprises me. But I respect her more for it. She's got it figured out. My girlfriend has been a maid of honour once, bridesmaid once, and is going to be a bridesmaid again this summer. I've been a groomsman once and I definitely had it much, much easier than her. I don't envy her at all.

I love how her reasons for disliking weddings are all things she does for her career. Like dressing up & being somewhere to parade around your friend's happiness?
