I realize I'm quite randomly asking but do anyone know of a good website to stream newly released movies online ?

Anna is amazing...she explains the movements so very, very well that she makes it easier to understand, and how to relate the steps, timing and technique. Thank you so much!

Hi. Great lesson. Is there a video of the movement and hip motion from back side ? Thanks

Hello, we had very limited space inside that studio so it was filmed only from one angle.

Great tutorial. I have a question hope someone can answer. On count 2 and 3, is there less rotation due to less time available like that in 4-1 ? Thank you.
@DanceToday2 жыл бұрын
Hello Rakhi, cuban motion is continous for the most part. There are moments where it is not possible but this is not one of them. Rumba, like any other dance has its fundimental actions however you are able to style the timing at which you accent certain aspects.

Aren't we supposed to have a "gradual landing" of the front foot i.e.at one brief moment aren't we supposed have both heels off the ground, balancing on the balls of the feet, and than lower the front heel pushing from the standing leg?
@DanceToday4 жыл бұрын
Hi, sorry but I'm not sure I understand your question
@lav2dance4 жыл бұрын
@@DanceToday Sorry, I will try to make myself more clear. During the basic rumba step (could be applied to any rumba walk) , on count 4 (or 2,3) in this video Anna steps ball flat with her right foot and only then does she lift her left heel off the ground. I was wondering if we were supposed to have both heels off the ground at one moment at the same time, balancing in a way on the balls of the feet before lowering the 'front' heel? I am not sure if I manage to express myself any better, sorry for that :) thanks anyway. I enjoy your videos, btw

@@lav2dance Ok now I understand, thank you for clarifying. in rumba particular one foot needs to be flat in order secure a foundation. So in short there really isn't a moment of to feet on the ball of inside edge of the foot. Samba is a different story though. Hope this answers your question & thank you so much for your kind words in your previous comment!!!
