Anna - project "WE ACT II: Women and Their Opportunities."

"I am from the Donetsk region and moved to Lubny because of the war. I also lost my job and want to find one in the new city. When I learned about the Painter-Plasterer profession course, it seemed like it was only for men. But now, having mastered this profession and gained new skills, I know I can be an example for other women who are afraid or face similar stereotypes. Women are capable of any profession; the main thing is the desire," shares Anna, a participant in the training course within the project "WE ACT II: Women and Their Opportunities."
Anna is currently studying in the painter-plasterer course and has already completed the theoretical part of the training, which included familiarization with materials, paint application theory, and safety techniques. The participants are still awaiting the practical part of the course, where they will directly apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.
The project is implemented by UNFPA Ukraine, with financial support from the European Union and in partnership with the NGO "Innovative Social Solutions."
