Kellogg's is the top university in the US and trust them. They might have seen something unique in her profile. So, it's not about just the best GMAT score rather it's more about her profile as she had mentioned in the video.

Agree! As business schools often say, GMAT / GRE scores is just one component of your application. A great test score alone won't necessarily get you admission, other factors such as your profile, essays, work experience, etc are also important.

It's not always about your score - which is exactly what I state in my video! I have 5 years work experience with Deloitte Consulting, helped co-found a start up, lengthy volunteer experience, put my heart and soul into my essays, had a 3.95 / 4.00 at a Top 15 Undergrad University, and went to every Kellogg event possible. It is actually quite refreshing that schools are not only valuing top GMAT scores.

​@@AnnaMoylan-i7q Hey, more power to you! But you've got to realise that all these things you've mentioned are regular things that most people applying do or have. Now imagine someone being 100 points under and getting selected. Great for you, really, but it's important to understand the key factor here was that Kellogg is a marketing school and you were a 'fit'.

I am literally surprished to know that a person with 660 can get into Kellogs. I scored 660 without any preparations. I know a lot of my friends in India who are not getting a call even with 760.

Yes because Indian IT males are the most overrepresented category in college admissions. I have a 750 with a decentish profile and i have not even managed to get an interview call with Oxbridge. My SOP was fairly decent. For an Indian IT male you need to have atleast 5-6 years of work ex in MBB or the big 4 to even be considered by a t-20 college. Ofc there are outliers.

Cause they don’t admit based on gmat. They admit based on multiple factors.
